Hello Steemjetters,
The recent complains about misuse of community accounts and onboarding of spammers has lead to the creation of this account to monitor these activities to give reports or statistics to ensure that everyone is being treated equally and quality posts are not left unnoticed, the account will also be used to detect spammers/fake accounts.
How do we intend to do this?
1. Warnings to Spammers before downvotes - We will be actively working all round on the prevention of spamming on posts, Potential spammers will be warned and if they disregard the warnings they get downvoted and added their usernames added to a list of spammers in the community which will later be published as a post using this account.
2. Monitoring the community account- The community account will be closely monitored for upvotes going out and coming in, So that way the illicit use of the voting power in the account will be prevented. If we get a violation of this rule, The perpetrators will be warned and if the warnings are neglected, We publish the list of users misusing the account in a weekly report.
3. Monitoring the funds in the community- We will be monitoring the funds given to delegates; Where they are being sent to, Who they are sent to, How they are sent and How much is being sent. After tracking the funds we will publish the records and also those who have probably misused the funds given to them.
4. Monitoring all contents on the steemjet tag- The security team will be reviewing all contents on the steemjet tag and probably publishing top 5 posts with highest number of comments or upvotes.
5. Flagging inappropriate comments- NSFW statements are frowned at in the community so we work to prevent the use of such languages and posts, and to prevent that we will warn the users to stop and edit or delete such comments and if they refuse, they get downvoted or muted.
CONCLUSION
The department will be working collectively round the clock to ensure orderliness in the community, However these will tasks be carried out will be known only to us, but we promise to be ontop of every matter in the community related to Security and Public Relations.
