When should I take my son to the psychologist? [ENG/ESP] ¿Cuando debo llevar a mi hijo al Psicólogo?
LINK
Psychology in children is very important to be attended to since in the first years of life, we can say that personality, confidence, self-esteem and security are formed in the first 6 years, among many other factors.
Taking a child to the psychologist does not mean that we are going to see what they are diagnosed with or know what they have, this usually happens because some parents think about the psychologist option when their children are not keeping up with the rest of their age.
But here we must take into account many other aspects such as the history of each child, their character and that each one has their individuality that makes them different from the rest, each person has a training and a certain conception of things, these are already creating a reality in the child's brain, which is why it can be very different from the rest.
As parents we must know when we can go to the help of a psychologist and what are the possible indicators that after having exhausted all the possibilities we should resort to a psychologist.
Regarding rebellion, we must take into account that children learn to express their feelings and regulate them at the average age of 3 years, if everything works within the parameters, by the time that child reaches the age of 5 to 7 years. the results will be adequate but otherwise it can become a problem.
When we talk about behavior, if we detect that our child is already 5 years old and cannot utter a word or is not able to express himself, we should consult the psychologist. These are just a few examples in which we should pay attention and ask a psychologist for help.

It is important to keep in mind that seeking help from a psychologist is not a sign of weakness or failure as a parent, but rather an opportunity to support and guide a child's development. One key aspect to consider when deciding to seek help from a psychologist is to pay attention to the child's individual needs and characteristics, as well as the history and context of their development. It's also important to remember that each child develops at their own pace and that there are many different indicators that may suggest the need for psychological support.
One question that arises from this is: How can parents effectively identify the parameters when a child may need psychological support and what are some signs that might indicate a need for professional help?
@bitkat Thank you very much for your contribution in the comment.
I think it is very important to consider going to a psychologist when we believe that our child needs it, the professional is the one who will determine if it is necessary to do some type of therapy or some work, or perhaps just follow some type of habit. In any case, it is the professionals who will guide us in this regard.
