What is SteemLab?
SteemLab is a program that enforces Project-Based Learning centered on the English language; it allows its participants to familiarize themselves with the first Social Media Platform that uses Blockchain Technology. It will provide guidance, mentorship and project management to all members under the supervision of our multi-disciplinary staff.
SteemLab will be capturing students’ interests and provoking serious thinking as the students acquire and turn new knowledge into an original creation.
This program is launched by EKO (an educational services company) and it is best suited for middle and high school students.

How does SteemLab work?
Steemians will be able to come at any time, without notice, during the hours the Lab is being held.
Our duties as staff members:
• Guidance throughout all the technological aspects and requirements of the endeavor.
• Holding sessions where the ins and outs of the platform are extensively explained.
• Provide help finding a niche that suits Steemians best.
• Guidance and mentorship creating content and true value.
• Help managing tokens on the platform.
• Selecting and creating rewarding contests and challenges.
• Coordinate teamwork and assistance building relationships with Steemians from all over the world.
• Initiating participation in charitable and volunteering work.
• Expose Steemians to new topics.
Program Benefits:
Our members or future Steemians will have the chance to be exposed to one of the most innovative and disruptive technologies of our time; blockchain. These are some of the skills that will be learned through the program:
• English Language: A language that is on the rise worldwide and a key element for future success. We highly value the importance of acquiring the English conversational and writing skills necessary towards attaining individual and social goals.
• Creativity: The ability to generate ideas and seeing possibilities is a very important skill to acquire in our world’s never ending economical and societal changes.
• Collaboration: Learning to see and appreciate the value of collaboration in achieving common goals as well as working in groups are skills that need to be nurtured.
• Adaptability: Flexibility and the ability to adapt to conditions are of an utmost importance.
Learning to handle pressure and developing a solution when problems occur is a vital skill.
• Critical Thinking: The ability to analyze, evaluate ideas are a must for connecting ideas properly and explaining concepts with clarity.
• Communication: Empathy, open-mindedness and clarity are important pillars for good communication, which helps reduce barriers such as language and cultural differences in a globalized world.

It is a great logo, I agree. We just changed it in order to match the change that recently happened on steemit.
