It's week #4 and we're back with another 100K UP Token airdrop for the Steem Monsters community! As with previous weeks, these tokens will be distributed via three SM themed contests.

The allocated UP tokens for each of these is as follows -

Writing Contest - 33,000 UP Tokens
Strategy Contest - 33,000 UP Tokens
Monster Giveaways Contest - 34,000 UP Tokens

Week #4

Writing Contest - 'The Mushroom Monsters'

1UP's community mascots- the 'Mushroom Monsters.'
All mushroom monsters can be downloaded from our public 1UP folder, for any needed reference.

Rules for entry -

(1) Create a post with a backstory, for any of 1UP's Mushroom Monsters, that is based in the Steem Monsters Splinter Lands. You are free to choose their name, rarity etc...

(2) Include the #steemmonsters, #uptoken & #mushroommonster tags in your post.

(3) Post your entry link in the comments below.

Winner's Prizes

1st - 15,000 UP Tokens
2nd - 10,000 UP Tokens
3rd - 5,000 UP Tokens

Voter's Pool
Devs & Team members - 1000 UP Tokens (100 ea. for the first 10 voters)
Mavericks - 1000 UP Tokens (50 ea. for the first 20 voters)
Newbies - 1000 UP Tokens (25 ea. for the first 40 voters)

Strategy Guide Contest

Rules for entry -
(1) Create a post stating which Steem Monsters you would have on a team, with a short description as to why you chose them.

(2) Standard Steem Monsters rules apply. Note that the mana cap is subject to change, so be sure to build your teams accordingly.

(3) Include the #steemmonsters & #uptoken tags.

(4) Post your entry link in the comments below.

Note -
If you don't have cards of your own, feel free to use teams played by others on the SM leaderboard as reference, just be sure to explain in your entry post why you chose that team.

Monster Giveaways Contest

This entry by @rentmoney won him the 19,000 UP Tokens during week #3's Monster Giveaways contest!

(1) Make any form of public Steem Monsters card giveaway with rules of your choice. Ensure the selection process of the winner is transparent and reasonable.

(2) Include the #steemmonsters, #uptoken & #giveaways tags.

SM Community Voting

Weekly contest winners are chosen based on accumulated voter's points, which are received through votes made by members of the SM community. Votes are cast on the entry posts in the form of a comment, & one's reputation within the SM Community Discord, determines their vote's worth & how many 1UP Tokens they are awarded.

This week's winners will be announced after this post pays out on, Thursday 25th October, 2018.

To date @crystalhuman has been the only participating voter; though considering it earned him an easy 1,000 UP tokens during Week #2, I'm pretty sure he doesn't mind. :)

Lastly, any unused tokens from each 'Voter's Pool' will be added to the total winnings of that contest's 1st placed winner.
