With Bitcoin’s 10th Bithday being today I want to do something different ....
- What brought you to the crypto-sphere?
For Me the reasonings are pretty simple , The mission of evening out the odds and breaking the chains off of This modern day slavery process we call our monetary system.
With the US being pulled off the Brentwood standard in 1971 by President Nixon , This turned our once Money backed by Gold into a worthless currency back by nothing but debt . We've been going down hill after that with more Currency debasing by adding base metals like copper & zinc minted instead of silver . The only reason why the USD hasn’t fallen is because of our confidence in the dollar . We the PEOPLE are keeping this alive , but as soon as We the PEOPLE start to lose confidence . The whole system will rapidly collapse effectively on a global scale not just The US . I love the idea of a REALISTIC free market without government interference . That’s why I was so drawn to crypto currency a few years back 😁

I wanted to earn some money, o invested some in steem. But almost used 40%of my investment in steem monsters. :)
I agree , The Steem blockchain is amazing . I believe it’s a great investment, not just investing with fiat , but a great investment of your time ! And Steem Monsters is just a little glimpse of the full potential of this blockchain . Digital assets make a block chain much funnier I can’t wait for SMT’s to launch 🚀
My way is pretty odd. I am a contentwriter and I write about what my customers want to have text about. One ask me to write about crypto and I had to read a lot before I could sell thoose articles. I have been writing for them in about 200 days now. But now more becauase they do not want to publish more about it. BUT I am still intressed of this as a "peoples economy".
Oh wow that’s pretty impressive my friend , and yes me too . It’s indescribable what can emerge from a PEOPLE’s community . ... Now that’s magical 👍🏼
The real reason I'm into crypto is so I can have some resources that I fully own and cannot truly be restricted by another party such as the government as a hedge against the more traditional assets I have that I feel are vulnerable to the government shall it become tyrannical.
I agree with your reasoning . Decentralization is a great security of ownership .I think Crypto &/ or digital assets will be used as a big hedge in every asset class . After battling cancer twice in my late 40s, I entered my 50s knowing that there was no way I would ever be able to retire. The company I work for is barely scraping by and wages have been stagnant for years, not even keeping up with the modest rate of inflation. I would love to move on, but difficulties left over from my illness has made finding a better job difficult.
Then I found out about cryptocurrencies and have been able to mine a little bit here and there. At the height of the bull run last fall, I was actually dreaming that I might be able to retire in a few years if the run had continued. I still have faith in cryptos and see them as a possible escape from the daily grind at a dead end job.
Well I just want to start off by saluting you ! You are a Real SURVIVOR my friend ! Truly a STRONG individual. I’m really grateful that you’ve shared this with us ! I I believe blockchain technology is the future , it’s actually the present last year around this time was just a little glimpse of what the future has in store For this market . I believe this will become a total wealth transfer , evening out the odds and giving everyone a fair shot of obtaining assets and preserve wealth , freeing oneself from the chains that are locked by our monetary system . I entered the crypto market obviously because I was promised the so called easy money. Now the money is harder to get and this reason isnt thriving anymore, but I am still here. I think crypto gives the amount of adrenaline needed. :D
Lol I love your honesty here and the feedback is great . Last year around this time a lot of people got spoiled with quick gains all around the board , it’s was like you could of picked any coin or token and you would get tremendous gains . But a lot of us lost sight of what an investment really is . Investing takes time to mature . I think a lot of us were just spectaculars not investors but you live and you learn , This entire year I’ve just been preparing for the next bull run because I believe last year was only a glimpse of what this market has in store for us ! I don't know if I believe anymore, but since I already gave a finger to the cryptosphere, might as well put my whole hand in. We are wasting time on the internet daily anyway so why not use this time on platforms which can potentially earn you something (even if it's in the long run). There is basically nothing to lose. Only to gain.

I agree with everything that you've stated except the non believing part lol I believe depending on what you're using the internet for will determine if it is a waste of time . But You've pointed out a great way to obtain a gaining position in markets your have no emotional attachment . I like your character I follow you now , thanks for the great feedback @kassixo
