Steem Dominion - Devlog #2
Current working logo/title for Steem Dominion, which may change before the game is due tomorrow
Continuing from the first devlog, I’ve added a total of 22 cards, and embellished everything, plus many miscellaneous improvements.
All pages now have a cool background, made by the @steemmonsters team, plus a 3D looking box with colors instead of the previously basic white boxes with black borders. All menu-related pages also have the Steem Dominion logo at the top.

If you’re alert, you probably noticed the sound icon in the bottom right, which currently mutes the music that's playing, but will also mute sounds when I add them. The working music for the game is Lightless Dawn (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E5uY08HThc), by Kevin MacLeod.
Moving onto the lobby screen, the deck builder and matchmaking boxes have been joined, so that there isn’t as much visual clutter with the amount of boxes in the screen.

Now that all cards have been added, the deck building menu has also been implemented.

Finally, the game itself looks much better, with a wide variety of cards. I will surely iterate on it again before the release, but I like how it looks already!

Today, I’m going to add animations to the players’ movements, along with sounds, to improve on the game flow, as currently units teleport from one location to the other instantly.

My teenage son is the coder and with school it's cutting it so close.
Wish this had finished on the weekend instead.

It's currently restricted on itch, as it currently uses a testnet and not the official Steem mainnet. Going to switch it tomorrow (along with making it public) to prevent any confusion.
