wer sich schon mit den Steem Monstern auskennt, weiß das die Legendären die wertvollsten und gleichzeitig seltensten Karten im ganzen Sammelkartenspiel sind. Wer es noch nicht weiß die sogennante drop rate (Abwurfrate) liegt aktuell bei 1% pro aufgedeckter Karte und war noch vor kurzem bei 1,4%. Das heißt statistisch ist jede hunderste Karte ein Legendärer!
Nun heißt es im Volksmund: "Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel!". So auch in meinem Fall. Mathematisch gesehen braucht es eben doch mehr Stichproben oder in diesem Fall Karten um die von den Entwicklern eingestellte drop rate von 1% zu bestätigen.
Who is already familiar with Steem Monsters knows that Legendary are the most valuable and at the same time rarest cards in the whole trading card game. Who doesn't know the so called drop rate is currently at 1% per flipped card and was recently still at 1.4%. That means statistically you'll find one Legendary in 100 cards.
It is popularly called: "Exceptions confirm the rule!". Like in my case. Mathematically it needs more samples or in this case more cards to confirm the set drop rate of 1% by developers.

Das waren meine ersten Booster Packs nach dem Starterpaket. 45 Booster Packs = 225 Karten. Statistisch gesehen müssten mindestens 2 Legendäre (in 2x 100 Karten) bei einer drop rate von 1% auftauchen.. kein einziger! war dabei 😂

Heute hab ich mir noch mal 43 Booster Packs = 215 Karten im Steem Monster Shop besorgt. Auch hier müssten statistisch gesehen 2 Legendäre auftauchen. Was ist passiert?.. es waren 5! Legendäre enthalten. Folgend das Vorher-Nachher-Bild aus dem Steem Monsters Explorer
Today i bought again 43 Booster Packs = 215 cards in the Steem Monsters Shop. Also here there must be statistically 2 Legendary. What happened?.. there were 5! Legendary contained. Following the before-after-picture from the Steem Monsters Explorer
Da staunt man nicht schlecht wenn man in zwei Booster Packs hintereinander 2 Legendäre aufdeckt! 😁 und die drop rate auf 2,3% ansteigt!

Ok, wie hab ich das nun gemacht? Bevor mich jetzt jemand fragt wie man zu so einer drop rate von 2,3% kommt.. ich habe keinen Trick parat.. weder schnelleres oder über Kreuz aufdecken von Booster Packs wirkt, auch die Anzahl von gekauften Packs funktioniert nicht.. oder vielleicht doch? 43 hatte ich jetzt nur einmal! Nein, ich mach nur Spaß!
Denn wenn ich jetzt den ersten und zweiten Fall von zusammen nehme, bin ich erstaunlich nah an der eingestellten drop rate von 1% nämlich 1,1%. Also wer mal keine Legendären in 50 Booster Packs findet, kann davon ausgehen das sie irgendwann kommen werden. Den Mathelehrer sollte so eine praktische Übung zur Wahrscheinlichkeitsrechnung und Statistik freuen!
Ok, how i'd done that? Before someone ask me how he can achieve the drop rate of 2.3%.. there is no trick.. neither you flip faster the cards nor crissross works, also the number of packs bought plays no role.. or maybe? 43 was just once! No i'm just kidding!
Because if i combine the two cases from above then i'm surpringly near the drop rate of 1% actually 1.1%. A math teacher should appreciate such practical exercise for probability calculation and statistics!

Good to know this analysis about the Legendary Card and also fall of percentage. And yes, Legendary card is most valuable card and in my opinion in future we can see great value for that card and who have the higher number of those cards will get Strong Position On Steemmonsters platform and possibly it will also boost profit margins.
Let's hope that more and more people will engage with it and i am waiting for the real battle and want to explore as how all this going to work and want to hold my excitement for the future.

If i look to myself Steem Monsters could grow huge.. there is already high demand just from collectors like me 10,000+ packages sold (12 days ago). Once the combat values are available, the ruleset is clear and tournament opens.. omg.. another rumor is that the drop rate for Legendary could soon fall to 0.2% per card or 1% per deck like discussed in the last StatChat i think, there are definitely thoughts around to restrict the supply even more and increase the rarity.
