Bonding with the icons, these people are making unusual things to help the world!

It was indeed a luck day for me to have time bonding with the icons who are not a normal people. They are the people who are doing things outside their comfort zone just to help the community and help the world with their advocacy. With them, i able to realize that every person can do small things to help the world suffering from great torment caused by people. I spent my whole day and night to be with them and it was really a great time with full of positive thoughts.

Why they are called icons? Because they are doing things to help the earth and encouraging people to do the same. They have their own advocacy, they stand what they believed its useful and helpful to the community, they promote something that can change the world and change the people.

Marlon Ponsoy - Flabbergast-art, he is promoting art and music and the walk of hope.

Marlon Ponsoy is promoting art and music. His advocacy helps Filipino to restore the history and origin of music and instrument, bringing the culture of art and music to different part of the Philippines with the coordination of local government.

Currently Marlon Ponsoy is in Bayawan helping "tatay Dagsa" to build the area for the works shop for art exhibit and building an exhibit room or show room for the art works. Marlon Ponsoy is encouraging student to learn the history of art and music of their place and he is also doing a work shop on how to create any artistic products from bamboo.

When i was there, there are several workers who are doing their task under the supervision and command of Marlon Ponsoy, it is part of their workshop and helping the place of tatay dagsa to develop.

Filcon Rivera or they called "Tatay Dagsa"

He is the owner of Dagsa place that develop drift wood into something useful and artistic. Tatay Dagsa was also known for his courage to travel the Philippines just using his home made skate board, promoting his advocacy to develop grabage, driftwood into an art display.

I met tatay Dagsa on 2012, it was the time that he visited in our school to speak about his advocacy. I got the chance to ask few question from him related to his achievement to tour around Philippines using his skate board. Tatay Dagsa is a man that has the positive insight and goal for his advocacy. His advocacy is simple as converting garbage and drift wood materials into something useful.

With Marlon Ponsoy, they are now joint forces to make their advocacy and plans comes to real. Tatay Dagsa gave marlon the floor to renovate and change the Dagsa place to something better. And right now, they are making art craft from bamboo materials.

Tatay Advocacy is to promote arts using drift woods and grabages. It helps eliminates garbage from the sea and might as will on the land.

> We welcome Atty. Lucio, from Makati who traveled from Luzon to Mindanao and Visayas using his small wheeled bike and 30 kilos gears and things inside his back packs.

Atty Lucio is working at Court of Appeals, under the government of Makati. He knew Tatay dagsa long time ago, the tima that Tatay dagsa is travelling Philippines with his Skate Board. Atty Lucio is using his bike for long travel, a very long indeed that it takes weeks. He visited different part of the Philippines and promote his advocacy, which is "bike to work". This is to encourage professionals, government workers and other people to use bike to minimize traffic, to minimize cost and to help earth to breath from over populated.

Atty Lucio has been doing bike to work for how many years already. And to travel with in the Philippines using a bike is an unusual achievements. Atty Lucio is positively supporting the group of Tatay Dagsa and whatever might plan they have in the future.

With them is truly an amazing moment, knowing their advocacy, learning new things from them and appreciating their effort to help the community and to help the earth.

It was my pleasure to be with these people and if there are another chance i would probably take it and spent more time with them. I am learning from what they are doing and encouraged to have my own advocacy that will help community and help the world. Kudos to these people!
