Heroes of Marawi: Felled by a Sniper
He was about to go home to witness the birth of his second child but was felled by a sniper fire last Wednesday during the bloodiest assault of the Government Forces on ISIS inspired Maute Group.
CPL GAJIR AHMAD is a team leader at the15th Division Reconnaissance Company, a unit that was part of a larger force that swoop down Marawi city for the final assault. Two other soldiers died in the assault while 51 others were wounded.
He is a native of Jolo, Sulu and was known to be the fiercest warrior in his company.
