दोस्तों क्रिकेट के खेल में, गेंद महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है। एक क्रिकेट गेंद हाथो की सिलाई के साथ परिष्कृत चमड़े से बना रहता है। चमड़े के अंदर एक छोटी कॉर्क बॉल को आंतरिक कोर के रूप में जाना जाता है जो गेंद की उछाल और स्थायित्व को नियंत्रण करता है। विभिन्न स्तर के खिलाड़ी, अलग-अलग खेल की स्थिति के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार की क्रिकेट गेंदों की आवश्यकता होती है।

आम तौर पर क्रिकेट गेंदों को निम्नलिखित श्रेणियों में विभाजित किया जाता है-

रंगों के आधार पर क्रिकेट बॉल्स के प्रकार:-

• लाल रंग के चमड़े की क्रिकेट गेंदों का प्रयोग आमतौर पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय मैचों में किया जाता है। लाल रंग की चमड़े की गेंदें तेज गेंदबाजों को बेहतर चमक और स्विंग प्रदान करती हैं। क्रिकेट मैचों के लिए सबसे अच्छी गेंदें लाल रंग की गेंदें संभव हैं।

  सिलाई पैटर्न पर आधारित क्रिकेट बॉल्स के प्रकार :-

  
  १) दो टुकड़ो वाला क्रिकेट गेंद और

२) चार टुकड़ो वाला क्रिकेट गेंद

* दो टुकड़ो वाला क्रिकेट गेंदों में, चमड़े को दो अर्द्ध क्षेत्र के रूप में आकार दिया जाता है। एक उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले आंतरिक कोर को दो चमड़े के अर्द्ध क्षेत्रों में रखा जाता है। क्रिकेट खिलाड़ियों के प्रवेश स्तर के लिए दो टुकड़ो वाला चमड़े की गेंदों का उपयोग किया जाता है। दो टुकड़ो वाला चमड़े की गेंदों द्वारा दी जाने वाली गुणवत्ता अच्छी होती है लेकिन यदि आप इसे चार टुकड़ों से तुलना करते हैं तो गेंद की उछाल में कुछ अंतर आता है ।

• चार टुकड़ो वाला चमड़े की क्रिकेट गेंदों में, चमड़े को चौथाई क्षेत्र में काटा जाता है। आंतरिक कोर तिमाही क्षेत्र चमड़े के चार टुकड़े के साथ कवर किया जाता है। कुशल श्रमिक द्वारा इस कार्य को किया जाता हैं। चार टुकड़े चमड़े की गेंदें उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले गेंद की रूप में प्रदर्शन देता है। सभी क्लब, लीग और अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट मैचों ने चार टुकड़े चमड़े की क्रिकेट गेंदों का इस्तेमाल करते है।

खेल की जरूरत के आधार पर क्रिकेट बॉल्स के प्रकार-

* हार्ड टेनिस बॉल्स

* शीतल टेनिस बॉल्स

* चमड़ा क्रिकेट बॉल्स

* कॉर्क क्रिकेट बॉल्स

अधिकांश क्रिकेट खिलाड़ियों ने मनोरंजक उद्देश्य के लिए हार्ड और सॉफ्ट टेनिस क्रिकेट गेंदों का इस्तेमाल करते है। सॉफ्ट टेनिस क्रिकेट गेंदों के लिए बहुत हल्के वजन टेनिस बल्ले की जरूरत है। चमड़े की क्रिकेट गेंदों का उपयोग अग्रिम या पेशेवर क्रिकेट खिलाड़ियों द्वारा किया जाता है। क्रॉक क्रिकेट गेंदों का उपयोग आर्मेचर क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी द्वारा किया जाता है।

विभिन्न ब्रांडों के आधार पर क्रिकेट बॉल्स के प्रकार:

चमड़े की क्रिकेट गेंदों के लिए, कुकबुरा और एसजी दो मशहूर ब्रांड हैं। कुकबुरा क्रिकेट बॉल्स आधिकारिक आईसीसी अनुमोदित गेंद हैं। भारत की सभी लीग मैचों में एसजी क्रिकेट गेंदों को प्रदान करता है। एसजी विज्ञापन कुकबुरा के अलावा- एजे, एसएस, एसएफ और थ्रेक्स भी उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली चमड़े की क्रिकेट गेंदों का निर्माण कर रहे हैं। टेनिस में, निविया उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली हार्ड और मुलायम टेनिस गेंदों का उत्पादन करता है।

Types of Cricket Balls Based on Colors: -

* Red balls of cricket balls are usually used in international matches. Red leather balls provide sharp shine and swing to fast bowlers. The best balls for the cricket matches are possible red balls.

* White cricket balls are used for limited matches or one day international or day cricket matches. These balls are designed to give closer to the performance of a red ball. In white cricket balls, the color of balls gets rubbed with a lot of time for leather to rub. It is known as natural leather color white balls.

* Nowadays, in the test matches pink colored balls are used as a test. The first pink color ball was used in the Test match between Australia and New Zealand in the Adelaide Oval in November 2015.

Types of cricket balls based on sewing pattern: -

1) Two piece cricket ball and

2) Four-piece cricket ball

• In two-piece cricket balls, the leather is shaped in the form of two semi-spheres. A high quality internal core is placed in two leather semi-fields. Two pieces of leather balls are used for the entry level of the cricket players. The quality offered by two pieces of leather balls is good but if you compare it to four pieces, then there is a difference in the ball bounce.

• In leather balls of four pieces, the leather is cut into quarter area. The interior core quarter area is covered with four pieces of leather. This work is done by skilled workers. Four pieces of leather balls give performance in the form of high-quality ball. All clubs, leagues and international cricket matches use four pieces of leather cricket balls.

Most cricketers use hard and soft tennis balls for recreational purposes. Soft tennis cricket balls need a very light weight tennis bat. Leather balls are used in advance or by professional cricket players. Crock cricket balls are used by armature cricket players.
