Review: Testing SteemPress wordpress plugin for 3 days
It has been three days since i experimenting with the new plugin #steempress which enables post from wordpress powered sites to be automatically cross-posted on your steemit account. I use steempress to cross post articles from www.acehtrend.co, which is a community based online media that I administered . I decided to temporarily use my personal account @riadi while waiting for the official @acehtrend steemit account to be approved.
The result is fantastic, every article posted on the www.acehtrend.co is instantly published at the same time on my steemit account @riadi. This feature is so convenient, especially for publisher to engage in more audience in a growing Steemit community.
What suprised me is that most of articles cross posted from acehtrend.co to steemit is not affected by @cheetah, a specialised robot detecting duplicated items on steemit. However, only original posts published on the website that are free from cheetah. Other posts which are copied from other websites are getting cheetah's attention.
My suggestion to improve further plugin's usability, I would recommend the Steempress to include some filters on its post setting, it could be filters based on tag or categories, so medium-large website like acehtrend can determine which post goes into steemit and which post not.
Thanks to @howo and @fredrikaa for making this great plugin for almost a fourth of content provider on the internet powered by wordpress.
