Expo Art in the 56 Fair of Florencia Colombia

Recently, the 56 Expo Agroindustrial and Livestock Fair was held in my town. This Fair has established itself as one of the most important in the south of my country. There are many merchants, cattlemen, artisans and citizens in general. I do not really feel comfortable among the crowds, so I decided to attend the last day, when the sun had declined its fervor and the crowds lessened a bit; for that moment the main activities of equine, bovine exhibition, shows and artistic shows had already finished. I started my tour at the bovine stand and I noticed an expression of weariness on the faces of the animals. My stay there was short, then I went to the craft stand, which is my favorite.

Recientemente se llevó a cabo  la 56 Expo  Feria Agroindustrial y Ganadera en mi localidad. Esta Feria  se ha consolidado como una de las mas importantes del sur de mi país.  Ahí se congregan muchos comerciantes, ganaderos, artesanos y la ciudadanía en general. Realmente no me siento cómoda entre las multitudes, así que decidí asistir el  ultimo día, cuando el sol había declinado su  fervor y las  multitudes  aminorado un poco; para ese momento las principales actividades de exposición equina, bovina,  espectáculos y shows artísticos ya habían finalizado. Inicié mi recorrido en  el stand de bovinos y percibí una  expresión de cansancio en el rostro de los animalitos. Mi estancia ahí fue corta, luego  me dirigí al stand de artesanías, que es  es mi favorito. Aquí una pequeña  muestra de las trabajos artesanales:

Esta obra de arte es una pintura de un toro en una gran rebanada de madera. La rodaja de madera también fue moldeada para simular la cara de un toro. El trabajo artesanal está diseñado para fijarse a la pared como si fuera un cuadro de  pintura.

This work is a horse face made of wood waste or debris that the peasants find in the river bed .

Esta obra,  es una cara de caballo elaborada con desechos o cascajos de madera que  los campesinos encuentran en el río.

These are beautiful necklaces shaped like blouses made in beads. An indigenous ancestral art that has spread to other populations and evolved into very elaborate pieces of art

Estos son unos hermosos  collares con forma de blusa elaborados en chaquiras.  Un arte ancestral indígena que se ha extendido a otras poblaciones y evolucionado en piezas de arte muy elaboradas.

In the same pavilion, an artist made these nice caricatures in charcoal.

En el mismo  un pabellón, un artista  hacía estas simpáticas caricaturas al carboncillo.
