Week two in the big brother house and there is a lot going on with-in the music community, but first lets put the the kettle on and make a proper brew ( i recommend Yorkshire Tea).Mixed Media Music Competition
Right so now we got a lovely cup of tea , lets see whats been going on. If you like music, steem and competitions then you will be happy to know that @mixedmedia are hosting a music competition on steemit with steem prizes going to the top 3 places, which will be judged by the one and only @jeffandhisguitar. All you have to do is look at the picture of the beach (below), compose a piece of music in relation to the photo and then follow the rules. However you have to be quick because the deadline is Friday, so you could submit a song you already have or make a quick one as the song is only up-to a minute long. '

Artist of the week
Artist of the week goes to Russ Sinfield with his track 'No Rain'
It is a truly amazing song with so much feel and passion. Russ mentioned that he wrote this for Pravinand Maharaj (Johnny Minstrel) and it's about the Durban drought so all i can say is click on the image and have a listen and find out for yourself.

Musicoin DJ submission
Send in your tracks to be featured in mixes on musicoin, musicoin special shows and track rotations. If your not interested in that, then you can drop your musicoin links in the Yes Please Discord for online shows and extra spins. Seems to be a lot of artists have given up on musicoin , mainly due to poor interface and not knowing how to exchange their coins but just remember it can be for example, an extra £50 a month you earn. It could even be double that if we collaborate, mix and work together more.

huge love to you! Thanks for dropping the S.A.M.C. playlist in the issue my friend, been having good time getting Steemit artists to sign up for choon and get them on the playlist. I see good things in future for running S.A.M.C. with tools on choon.

I think I jut submitted a track to your Choon playlist correctly. You might want to put a description on the Discord channels as I was a bit confused about which one to use!

This seems like a good idea, this online magazine thing.
This is my first comment on steemit so I don't know how this all works yet. Kind of hard to read right now but I bet as it goes along they'll improve the format.
