New 2018 SILVER Somalian Elephants, My first 2018 coins!!! #166

Just a quick post about these new 2018 Somalia Elephants. This years design is great, its almost 3D looking from the right eagle. It really is a nice coin and they are cheap as chips as well. If they did not milk spot, these would replace my Britannia's as my coin stacking coin. This was my plan in 2015 and i bought a tube, they all milked so i continued buying brit's. My core stacking coin is the coin i buy the lower the per oz cost of my orders. Maybe you have one?

The popular elephant design started in 2004. Coins dated 2004-2009ish are worth a pretty penny if you have any. I am not sure what the mintage is now but anything from 2014 onwards i class them as something i will sell for close to spot. They are 39mm in diameter and 3mm thick. I just buy them cause i like them, not really any other reason. They are pretty :)

Sorry, the picture above is crap but we all know what they look like, its the same as last year except they swapped a 7 for an 8. Next few pictures i was trying to show the detail in the design, its almost looks 3D. Deffo pick up a few if your after something new and cheap.
