My first Steem silver round

Look at this beautiful glimmering piece of awesomeness, this particular round is called the Communi-Tree and it is one troy ounce .999 of brilliant uncirculated silver. It’s safe to say I’m pretty stoked to have acquired my first Steem silver round, especially being somewhat of a Steemit newb.

I had the help of a couple of fellow Steemit friends; @galenkp and @mattclarke, special thanks to you for helping me fulfil one of my Steemit bucket list items. The silver is safely stowed away and will remain in its protective casing forevermore. Is this where the spirit of the collector’s addiction kicks in, because I now want to see all previous rounds that were in circulation and visit all the silver shops scattered down the local and not so local laneways. I know @phelimint has a beautiful succubus round in the works and I can’t wait until it’s release. The final chosen artwork is a hands down winner and I’m in it for the craftsmanship, post here.

The steem round itself holds much more than financial value to me. As the title of the coin suggests, it’s a token of the community that becomes an integral part of the success and relationships established behind such a platform. The priceless nature of the friendships forged is what life’s about. Making connections and discovering the intrinsic nature of every day experiences, discovering the diversity of what people offer in each person’s story.

That’s all I have for this post, it’s short and sweet as I just wanted to share my appreciation for the Steemit community and the power it has to create unique opportunities.
