Check Out My Lynx!
Hi friends,
I snapped! Even though there’s been trades coming in and some MR3 stragglers last week, i still hadn’t hit up my lcs yet this year — before today that is 😜 — and i’ve been jonesing.
First, i ogled over the primo 🤩😁😳😄😍
(Yo, @silveringots, are any of these E’s extra rare?)
But i knew my broke ass wasn’t gonna’ pull any big levers... then my buddy P said he had something for me 😁🤩😁
A tube of ‘67 Canadian Cougars!
I bought 36/40 of them ‘cause 4 of ‘em were pretty crappy and deffo not BU. I was pretty happy to get them at $11 per face dollar too.
😎👍
36x25 = 900 pennies — 9 x $11.00 = $99 — So $99 for the (slightly short) stack. Now this year of Lynx Centennial quarters comes in both 50% and 80% silver — which is pretty shady if you ask me. Pre ‘67 Cad is all 80% Ag, but these ones looked like the real deal to me. I think at worst, i may have got $1 in 50%ers.
Here, check it out:
The two quarters on the left (at the bottom) look almost proof, whereas the two on the right have a pearly lustre like all the other ones above them, (except, maybe, for second column from left, 3rd coin down — pinch and zoom.) Fak, i don’t know... but there are only the 3 that look even brighter than all the rest and more like contemporary quarters. The whorls and swirls on most of these babies are mesmerizing. And it may be hard to see from photos, but all of these coins are BU! and in very good shape — so at $2.75 each and in/out for less than a hunski, i figured it was a good buy — and boy, did it do wonders for my stackitus too!
Call me a pervert but the BU coins from 50+ years ago give my eyeballs eggplants! And these ones almost look like individual piecs of jewelry to me. Surely a treasure to be valued. Here’s a close up of the Lynx.
Stack that shit up! It’s all on sale 😎👍👍
Cheers! from @thedamus

Well since no one else has said it...
Nice p*ssy. 🐱
HA! That was original title 😂👍👍
I Have to UP Vote That !!!
As they don't want to weight every coin, they sell or buy it assuming it is a 65% silver coin. The weights are 5.83g for the 80% and 5.05g for the 50%.
Excellent rono! I’ll put them on the scale tonight! I read that both weighed the same but i will check ‘em out — and see how good my Ag sniffer is.
Thanks buddy!
🤘😎
The ALL checked out! 🤩👍👍⚡️🍆🕺⚡️

Hell of a haul brother !! The bottom 10oz Engel is rare bar. Off the top of my head I want to say it is a 500 mintage ingot. Your example has larger spacking between the hallmark and weight/purity. Look it up on Allengelhard.com. Might be some comp sales there too. I have seen a few sell in the $500 range. Very nice find! JM 10s are great! The other 2 are common Canadian 10oz pours. The lower example seems to have a lower more desirable serial number. 🔥🔥
Thx man! I’m gonna’ try and get some info re: price on ‘em..
Picture of @thedamus Jumpin' on a NEW PURCHASE at the LCS..............
If you were a rabbit, that'd be the last thing you ever saw ;)
Lol, love it!
Nothing Will Keep My Brother From Jumping On the Best Deals he Can Get at His LCS..................
That old Canadian coinage sure is purdy! Nice score. Oh and that 5oz JM bar got me like 🍆
Yeah!!! Those old 5s are dandy 🤩👍👍⚡️🍆🕺
It's not just you that gets 🍆 for BU coinage... Very good finds brother damus. Keep on stacking
Thx laddie! Happy 21!!! (...again)
Sweet deal on the kitty cats. You should be able to separate the 80&50% coins with a neodymium magnet.
“Neodymium” is above my pay grade 🤣🤣
Awesome haul brother.👍
Cheers buddy! It’s like they’re new 😁🤩😜
