Bitcoin, Litecoin etc are vastly better, fairer and honest than the utterly corrupt system they replace. Ethereum and similar platforms/operating systems will revolutionize everything from mobile computing to law.
They are the future. Period.
But prices have had an ABSOLUTELY INSANE run this year.
BTC @ $4,400 is the top.

Big rally.

The down will be quick, but the banging along the bottom will be devastating. Slow drip drip, it'll drag out interminably for weeks, months on end.

YouTube pumpers go silent.
By mid-2018 more than half of today's crypto's will be a distant memory. Many former crypto hundred-thousand-aires will be back at their old jobs.

I'm sure blockchain technology will be here to stay but I'm waiting for the crypto wave to crash. Who knows where it'll go but I'm sure some sort of regulation will come around to change the market so drastically it would become something unrecognizable by our current standards.
Yes, regulation could be the "bogeyman" or an IRS crack down maybe. The down spike following the up spike will need a narrative of some sort to flame the panic.
Brings to mind the 'money laundering and terrorist financing ' act that was just proposed a month or two ago. As long as the mainstream media is controlled by monied interests it will be difficult to have an honest mainstream view of cryptos. I'm watching for the next preplanned 'great crisis' to be used to undermine faith in BTC
