A surprise wrapped in silver: My #SecretSanta gift has landed!
Christmas came early this year, courtesy of the incredible #SilverGoldStackers Secret Santa exchange. While I’m no stranger to the tradition—having organised it for years—there’s still something magical about receiving a mystery package from a fellow member of our tight-knit community.
When the postman knocked at the door, I was braced for the usual small parcel—a carefully wrapped bit of silver or a precious metal trinket. But oh no, my Secret Santa clearly subscribes to the bigger is better philosophy! The box I received was enormous—so big that even the postman gave me a look as if to say, “Someone’s been very good this year.”
Now, I’ve promised myself I’ll wait until Christmas Day to open it (emphasis on promised), but I’m already like a kid staring at the presents under the tree. I’ve given it a little shake, checked for the telltale sound of silver jingling, and tried to decipher just what could be inside. Knowing our community, it’s bound to be thoughtful, fun, and something that reflects both our shared love for precious metals and the spirit of giving.
