This week we bring you a special edition of SteemSports that includes a pre-game analysis of this week's Thursday Night Football Game, in the form of a Video/Podcast!
This Thursday, Oct. 20th at 8:30 EST(UTC-4), the Green Bay Packers will be hosting the Chicago Bears in the oldest rivalry in the NFL.
The spread of the game is 8.5 and Green Bay is favored. (Packers -8.5, Bears +8.5). This game should be fun to watch with all of the current developments from these two teams.

How to Play
Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).
Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).
After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.
The Stake Pool:
The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.
30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.
70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.
Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.
Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.
Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.

Packers will win this game, Chicago has to rely too much on the run, and the Packers have like the #2 or #3 ranked run defense. I am benching Jordan Howard in fantasy for this game because of the tough match up. The Packers should get a huge lead and be able to hold it. The Bears are terrible. I don't know if they will beat a 8.5 spread, but the Packers will win the game.
I just like an underdog lol. Knile Davis is the starter for GB most likely and Aaron Rodgers has played bad. With a new RB the bears can drop 7 and spy with one of the linebackers.

GB is still first in run defense. Even though Ezekiel Elliot ran through them last week.
Yeah, Elliot is running behind the best O line in the game. I think that games was a fluke, and GB (who I don't like), will revert to their norm again this week and stuff the run.
I don't know if it's a fluke. The cowboys just look that good this year.
I mean a fluke for GB not Dallas, yeah Dallas does look that good this year. So long as they keep Prescott in there they should be a playoff team. They easily have the best O line in the NFL this year.

Rodgers' timing had been off, receivers are blowing routes, and a lot of dropped passes. Still, I would take Rodgers over anyone with the game on the line. Last year was a "down" year for him, and he still lead the league in TD/Int ratio and threw 34 or 35 touchdowns. For anyone else that's a career year.

I understand. I'm a Bengals fan. If they lose I immediately start cheering on whoever plays the Steelers. I do like Minnesota too. I miss having Zimmer here is Cincinnati he's a great defensive mind.

Hi, thanks for the query. The last game we paid out was the soccer game, Napoli vs Roma. Even on that game the script lost connectivity to the public node after paying just 19 people, the balance of 50 payouts and 50 memos had to be done by hand and took about 3 hours. The problem is the script never had a resume feature, we are getting that rectified with a whole host of other efficiency improvements and gamification options. We will most likely pay out all simultaneously. Thanks for your understanding and patience, we are very disappointed we cant fully delight our fans.
There have been problems . They have been having to do it manually . Hopefully it gets fixed soon . I assume they have stopped doing it manually and are waiting to fix the issue and then send them all at once. We will See! Steem On!!!
