Argentina
When one hears about Argentina, the first thing that comes to mind is the name Lionel Messi, also referred to as the best player in the world! And, He is not alone, this national team is filled with many key players like Dybala, Di Maria, Higuain, Agüero. and Mascherano. This will be extremely important as Messi will not be able to play due to a recent injury he had with Barca!
At the same time, we must understand that this is a very strong side that is right now in the 5th of the table, an unlikely number for them, and in their last game they were winning until Mascherano made a mistake that lead to a penalty for Peru and that ended in a painful final score of 2-2.
Given these 2 situations, we can say with absolute certainty that Argentina will give their all to redeem themselves with their audience obtaining a victory to reach the top of the table again.
Their DT, Edgardo Bauza, likes to use the 4-2-3-1 formation as it follows:
A su técnico Edgardo Bauza, le gusta usar la formación 4-2-3-1 de la siguiente forma:
Goalkeeper: Caballero (Portero)
Defence: Zabaleta-Otamendi-Funes Mori-Rojo (Defensa)
Mids: Kranevitter-Mascherano (Medios)
Mids: Dybala-Agüero-Di Maria (Medios)
Forward: Higuain (Delanteros)
Paraguay
After loosing in the last minute against Colombia, Paraguay stands in the 6th position in the South American Qualys, in front of this hard situation, their DT, Francisco Arce, hopes too change some starters from the previous game and plans to keep the same 4-4-2 formation, just to reinforce certain tactical aspects in defense and the attack that they were missing last game.
Also Paraguay is known as the “Warrior” team. Argentina plays a very physical frame that has led win in 2 American Cups against Chile and Brasil! With this vast experience in important games, they will also find inspiration in the fact that Messi won´t be able to play tomorrow. That will put even more confidence in Paraguay players!
Their Dt Danny Blind, likes to use the 4-4-2 formation as it follows:
A su técnico Danny Blind, le gusta alinear con la siguiente formación 4-4-2:
Goalkeeper: Barreto (Portero)
Defence: Moreira-Gomez-Da Silva-Candia (Defensas)
Mids: Gonzalez-Riveros-Rojas-Romero (Medios)
Forwards: Benitez-Lezcano (Atacantes)
Teams Form/Forma De Los Equipos
In the next table we can observe the statistics corresponding the last 9 games for each squad:
En la siguiente tabla podremos observar las estadísticas correspondientes a los últimos 9 juegos disputados por estas selecciones:
It seems that Argentina has a slight advantage in terms of the general team's form as they've only lost 1 game and Paraguay has lost 3 games. Also, they have managed to do so with more away games than Paraguay.
Head to Head/Cabeza a Cabeza
As we can see in the table, historically, this game has been played 14 times with Argentina´s having a great amount of dominance against Paraguay’s side, with a proportion of 5:2 and a rate of 1.86 goals scored for Argentina per game against 1.07 goals scored for the Paraguay. Special attention must be taken because one can also see that they had 7 draws, and that sets up the stage for a very even match.

How to Play
Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).
Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).
After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.
The Stake Pool:
The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.
30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.
70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.
Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.
Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.
Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.

@steemsports:
I haven't been getting paid out on a lot of my past winning picks, the most recent one being the Bisping/ Henderson match-up.
I know for a fact that I've been following the rules. I up-vote the main post and vote for only one contestant, all before the event starts. My rep is well above the 35 requirement.
Why am I not being paid? Is it a problem with your payout algo, or what?
I'd appreciate a response because it's starting to feel like a waste of my voting power to participate in these events. Thanks in advance.
Hi @jamesbrown the fights were on Saturday evening, payouts were scheduled for today for the fights and we are busy with them now. All payouts have been done for games prior. Thanks for your patience. The best way to know if we have done a payout is to go into the game and see if there is a #winner tag next to the winning comment and the names of winners below.
@steemsports
So you up-vote my post, but don't provide an answer to my question(s)? I'm confused by this.
Are you agreeing that I should feel like I'm wasting my voting power by participating in these events? If so, then I believe that I at least deserve an explanation for what I presume to be a black-listing.
I don't consider anything that I've done as wrong, regarding my voting. I'm playing within the rules.
Without an explanation (as I know that you're seeing this now, thanks to your up-vote), I'm going to have to take it upon myself to spread awareness about this issue - the Steemit community deserves to know.
@jamesbrown, we answered you above....refresh your browser please.
My bad @steemsports - I closed this post and then saw the up-vote for my first post under my comments tab, then came here to see that there wasn't a comment (no comment from you showed up, but I could still see the up-vote from you); thus my above response.
Thanks for for clearing up my issue.
No probs, also we are about to pay out the Bipsing / Henderson fight. Your name is only on the main post, you didn't vote a comment for a win, I double checked in Steemd.com on this link if you look at the third picture comment of Bipsing your vote isn't there.
It should be. I just checked by going back to that post and the up-arrow is highlighted for only the Bisping comment/ picture. I remember clicking on it, I believe it was on Friday night.
Could it be a problem of communication between Steemit and the Steem block-chain, wherein my vote doesn't show up on the block-chain end but does on the UI side?
edit
I just checked out your link and went to that third picture comment, as you suggested, using control + f to look for my name, and I indeed found it within that section.
edit 2
You can see it highlighted when you click on the above screen-capture that I took of the page that you linked me to.
Regardless, I got a payment for it, so it worked out right in the end.
Lol, I was using ctrl-f at the end of the list...so worked out in the end. :)
Argentina
Very good post!
Hi @steemsports
I love this dea but am a little concerned. I have voted/bet on seven events and I know I was right in at least three but I have received nothing. Please explain the procedure my friend.....
Hi @handsolo, please can you tell me which event's you won?
The script cuts off if you don't vote main post, if rep is less than 35, if you vote after the game time starts, or if you vote more than one game comment. Also if you unvote and change your vote the script doesn't know it's not a duplicate.
contact thecryptodrive in chat and I will help you.
Don't worry about it @steemsports, I guess there is a delay somewhere. Thanks for responding and keep up the great work :D
Sure thank you, we don't do payments every day. We run a batch of payments every 2 or 3 days depending on our schedule. Thanks for enjoying and playing!
Awaiting the vote options!
Argentina is my pick to win.
Argentina!!
