RealMadrid Versus PSG

I will begin this topic today by strongly noting that I am a die hard Real Madrid fan. However, I will not be biased in anyway when it comes to todays Champions League Analysis and prediction.

It is no longer news that Real Madrid has been facing a lot of set backs in recent times. Cosnidering their last ten matches, we could obviously see that they have managed to net 27 times only winning just five of their 10 previous matches, drawing 3 and losing just two.

This is obviously a poor run of form for the only club to have won the champions league consecutively twice in recent times. Likewise, Ronaldo has been very unlucky in front of goal this season and you may be forced to say he is already depleting because of his age but he was able to net a hatrick for his side in the last fixture against Real sociedad. Is he back on his goal scoring form?? I gues we will get to know very soon.

On the other side of the divide is Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). They have been in a very fine form this season scoring at will and deciding when to stop scoring. Considering their last ten matches, PSG has netted a total of 31 goals, winning 90% of their games and losing just one. Their front three comprising of Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe have been prolific through out the campaign.

Real madrid and PSG have met just 5 times since 2013 which Real madrid winning 3 of that fixture with PSG winning just once while the last fixture ended in a goaless draw.

Considering Their positions In The League Table

In the Spanish league, Barcelona currently occupies the first position, while Athletico Madrid find theirselve in the second spot. Madrid Is currently lagging behind Valencia in the 4th spot on the league table with just 42 points from 22 matches one shy of the top three in terms of the matches in the spanish league.

On the other hand, PSG sits at the top spot in the french league comfortably with 65 points from 25 matches recording a 86.6% success rate so far in the league so far. The only people close to them is Monaco managing 53 points from 25 matches.

What this does mean for today's match, PSG will be brimming with confidence in today's fixture but of course since it is at the Bernabeau, it might not be too easy for them.

As a madrid fan, I will normally be biase but I won't and so I am going to tell you my thoughts. I feel Madrid will not lose today's match and I am predicting a either a draw (scoreless) or a win for Madrid.
