The Dukes of James Madison University are expected to repeat as CAA champions and be a contender for another FCS national championship on the collegiate gridiron this fall. They are actually ranked first in the Athlon Sports Preseason FCS Top 25

Towson will be chomping at the bit to return to the gridiron as they did not compete either in the fall of 2020, nor in the spring of 2021.
