The Utah Jazz and the Golden State Warriors face off tonight as the Jazz try to clinch the #4 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. The game tips off at 8pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on the NBA League Pass. It will take place at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Jazz are favored by 7.5 points and the over/under is 211.5.

The Jazz have been one of the best teams in the NBA since they got off to a terrible start earlier this year. They have been led by rookie Donovan Mitchell who is averaging 20.5 points per game. The former 13th overall draft pick out of the University of Louisville has far out performed everyone’s expectations and deserves to win the Rookie of the Year Award. But before that happens, the Jazz have plenty of work to do.

Ricky Rubio and Rudy Gobert have been on fire of late too for the Jazz and they aren’t simply satisfied with making they playoffs. They want to make some noise and get a shot at the #1 seeded Houston Rockets.

The Golden State Warriors had another extremely successful season and are locked in as the #2 seed in the West. But head coach Steve Kerr has a ton of concern about lingering injuries for their top 4 players and especially for Steph Curry. Curry hurt his ankle a few weeks ago and is still on the mend. It would be a shame if the Warriors don’t reach full strength before another potential run at an NBA Title.

The Warriors just want to get through tonight’s game injury free. The Jazz on the other hand control their own destiny and want to win tonight and tomorrow to earn that #4 spot.
