FISH BIOLOGY!!!
Fish is a cold-blooded aquatic vertebrate that lives inside water(Aquatic habitat).Fish is an aquatic animal that breathe by means of gills and move by means of fins.
They lack limbs with digits.They form a sister group to the tunicates,together forming the olfactores.Most fish are ectothermic(cold blooded)allowing their body temperatures to vary as ambient temperature changes,though some of the large active swimmers like white shark and tuna can hold a higher core temperature.
Fish are abundant in most bodies of water.They can be found in nearly all aquatic environments.
FISH STRUCTURE
The internal organs in the body cavity includes:
1.Stomach
2.Small and large intestine
3.Liver
4.Reproductive organs
5.Bile,kidney,lungs,accessory breathing organ(Catfish) e.t.c

CLASSIFICATION OF FISHERY
Fishery can be classified as the industry or occupation devoted to the catching of fin fish or shell fish or other aquatic organisms, e.g sea weeds or water lettuce as well as its distribution to the final consumer.It can also be refer to a place where fish or other organims are caught.It is normally regarded as a fishing business.
Therefore,Fish can be classified into two parts namely:
1.Fin fish which are smooth and jelly-like skin,some also have scale coverings. They have endo-skeleton that is, they are vertebrates, Examples are catfish,teleost such as tilapia, heterotis e.t.c

2.Shell fish:They have exoskeleton that is, they are invertebrates.Examples includes, Shrimps, crabs, periwinkles, lobsters, pearls and prawns e.t.c
