Weee I'm so glad to see you here ! The visit of the CMS was amazing I loved it, and apart from the actual beast, you contributed greatly to the experience being able to answer basically any questions that we had :)

As for the formatting, put the image inside of <center> tags to center it or inside

<div class="pull-right">to put it on the right and <div class="pull-left">to pull it to the left.

Most of the "basic" html works yes, bold tables, titles etc. But don't expect too much out of it.

Use center tags to center an image as well and use the box brackets to place attribute data. You can also use HTML markup.
