Russia's Nuclear Outperforms America
President Donald Trump reiterated his desire that the United States expand its nuclear arsenal, in its first statement on the issue since serving as president.
Trump says 'the US nuclear capability is far behind' and should be changed to 'be at the top.'
In an interview with Reuters news agency, he said that would be a 'beautiful thing, a dream' if no country has nuclear weapons.
According to the non-partisan US Army Control Control Association, the United States has 7,100 nuclear weapons while Russia has 7,300.
The President stated that he was concerned because US nuclear weapons lagged far behind.# header
