  • People who say money means nothing are lying to themselves. Money is what keeps the world running. Money is what helps us to survive.

  • The people who often smile have been the through the hardest in life

  • Be careful when you walk down the road with your phone in your hand. There have been incidents where cyclists ride by and grab the phone

  • Never ever put your phone or wallet in your back pocket. Save yourself from theft.

  • Always have a number on speed dial as this will help you when you're in a dark situation

  • Don't rely on anyone to keep you happy. If you do, you'll never be satisfied

  • In order to love others, you need to love yourself.

  • Don't trust someone who gossips. Who knows, they're probably saying horrible things about you too.

  • In order to protect yourself, you have to keep your guard up.

  • Social Media is brainwashing us

  • Love makes people extremely blind. Even when you have doubts about the person, you make excuses for them. Once that love extinguishes, your eyes open up to a tonne of flaws you never knew existed.

  • Life is temporary. All the materialistic things we crave for are temporary. We will all die one day…

  • If a newborn baby can die in his mother's arms, who's to say that we won't die in the next minute?

  • You are not your parents

  • Don't expect appreciation or gratitude from anyone. I used to put in extra effort only because I wanted to be praised. I felt like crap when I realised nobody actually cared. They were just happy they didn't have to do the work.

  • People will only message you because they need something. The people who genuinely care are rare to find.

  • Everyone in this world is competitive.

  • Everyone is selfish and that's okay, to an extent. We all have to earn a living somehow.

  • Don't marry someone because of their looks. Eventually you'll both grow old and the beauty will fade away.

  • Never employ people who are overly-confident. My boss has done this before and boy he regretted it.

  • Peace will never prevail in a world of turmoil. There will always be turmoil, unfortunately.

  • Life isn't fair. Complain about all your problems, nothing will change if you don't take action.

  • Never trust anyone with your secrets

  • Most people enjoy seeing you fail and will envy you when you succeed.

  • You have to face your demons and fight them. Nobody's going to do it for you.

  • You're the one in control of your life. Nobody can change your fate apart from you.
