Updates

I'm way to busy to make a detailed post now, but I uploaded a new SteemWorld version today (local version will come a bit later) and there are a few new exciting features to be discovered. It has been a hell of a ride so far to adapt my code base, I can tell you, but I'm making good progress...

It's now possible to switch to a Steem-Engine Tribe/Token and to claim pending rewards, make transfers, power shares up/down, simulate effective token power and see the own token balances in a new overview in the Balances section. KeyChain also worked in my tests without any problems.

By clicking on the blue link (token symbol) in the table, the active token will be changed to that token and the buttons on the right can be used to claim rewards, transfer, power up/down:

There are some things I'm still working on currently:

  • Display a USD sum of all owned tokens in 'Account Value' and add a row/column with only the active token's value
  • Add a button to be able to claim all rewards at once
  • Fix missing images in the Tokens Overview
  • Show also the base token 'STEEM' in the overview (maybe just label the tab 'My Tokens' or so)
  • Include more token details (circulating/max supply etc.)

After that I will walk my way down the Account Overview and adapt following sections to the Steem-Engine APIs:

  • Market Orders
  • Market Info
  • Delegations

Transfer now directly in Balances

I moved the Transfer tool to the Balances section and it can now also be used to send Steem-Engine tokens.

Have fun!

Local (downloadable) SteemWorld Version

As I don't want SteemWorld's availability to be dependent on external providers decisions, I prepared a locally running version of the frontend that can be downloaded here from now on. I will keep that version up to date weekly, so that we always have a stable, local alternative available.

To run the local version, just download the zip file, extract it and double click on the 'steemworld.html' file. The site will as usual run in your browser, so it does not have access to your local machine (only to parts that your browser allows).

In order to use KeyChain in the local version there is currently no other way than hosting the site on a local HTTP server on port 1337.

My Mission

As I receive many requests for working on different other projects recently, I hereby want to make clear that I'm on a one-man-mission and I don't have time to work on any other things currently!

Thank you for supporting my work!

Positive thoughts create a positive world. It all begins with connecting our thoughts with emotions. What we focus on is what becomes powerful. We are the creators of our world.

Much love,

Wow! Just checked out the new features linked to all of these new Steem Engine tokens @steemchiller. Nicely done! 👍 😊 I was wondering if that might be coming sometime, but did not want to ask, as I know you are "under water" from a lot of past projects.

Well, this presumably provides a code foundation for SMTs in the not too distant future? As I am not a Steem blockchain programmer, I don't know what the distinction will be between Steem Engine tokens and SMTs, but presumably they bear a resemblance to each other and your efforts will pay big dividends at that time.

Looking forward someday to the power of what it sounds like SDS will be able to allow us to do with our accounts.

Above all, I hope all of this effort someday leads to a rising vs. sinking STEEM price!

P.S. Not a big deal if you can't, but thought I would ask if it is possible for the column headings of these tables to remain fixed, when we scroll down? For example, at the moment, they disappear when scrolling down through the "SE Tokens" view ...

P.P.S. I'm sure not a priority, but I always enjoying hearing from you on "the big picture" in your life plans. Are you still planning on moving out of Germany? Or did you already and somehow I missed it?

Stark, Chiller!
Chriddi

Wicked as a Token issuer I sure do appreciate the effort and support that you've built in here... Nice Work!

@steemchiller thank you for a great service.

Yes! Thank you! I had been waiting for this kind of features, but didn't ask if they would be implemented because from what I understand, you had said you wouldn't implement any new feature outside the list you had been posting. Great work as always, and so many exciting features to come, too!

PS: just a small nitpick: when simulating power amount for the SE tokens (a few that I checked were LEO, BATTLE and PAL), the simulation dialog's title still says "SP Amount."

And I don't know if I'm missing something, but how do we revert back from the tribe tokens to STEEM?

Thank you! Good nitpick, that one was easy to fix :)

And I don't know if I'm missing something, but how do we revert back from the tribe tokens to STEEM?

Now you can revert back with a click. I added STEEM to the tokens overview:

Simulator title fixed and new STEEM button working as it should. Thank you!

WOW! Great updates, dear @steemchiller: thank you so much!!!

🤗

I'd love to be able to use "Transfer to Stake" Mode: could you enable it?

As always Great, Great, Great...work. Thanks a lot for being so productive!!!!! (don't forget to sleep from time to time 😉)

I don’t know what we would do without you - we are looking forward to the mobile version.

The best tool on the Steem blockchain.
Huge Thank you.
Resteemed :-)

Wow! You actually adapted it to work with every other Tribe out there!?
That's a fantastic effort. Many, many thanks for your excellent work! 😍

There is still a lot to do, but I'm making progress. The Account Operations, Voting/Posts/Rewards Overviews also need to be changed, so that we can see incoming transfers and the complete coming/recent rewards for each token.

@steemchiller
I am absolutely speechless with the huge work that you have accomplished. Absolutely speechless.

It seems like a daunting task. Hope you can achieve it without too many headaches! 😉
