Steemxp Community Christmas Family Party

One of the best meetup, gathering, and party so far in 2018, The @steemxp Christmas Party was planned right after the Borneo Blockchain Summit, with the team and members decided to gather and rekindle and have a merry jolly fun.

The event was held in Kokol Hills, about 40 minutes drive from the City of Kota Kinabalu. It was attended almost all the team members of the Borneo Blockchain Summit. To add more just the members, we open up to bring our family members. Some members brought their parents, mom, kids and even relative as well.

This is what community building is all about, it is not just about Steem, Steemit, posting good content, writing or doing great videos and upvotes. It is purely to see the community grows and see Steem grows to a better and higher value.

Offline gathering such Steem Fest 3 is critical on the community of Steem. Same goes with the idea of @steemxp. This is to ensure the common goal are set and see Steem fly.

We have organized Games, Exchange Christmas Gift, BBQ session, and even drinking session with members. I salute to those who came, it was an invitation to open to all and the support was enormous, the participation of the new and old members was amazing.

Most of us here know each other for about a year, but seems like a long time. Thanks to Steemit. It is the drive and the vision and goal to see Steem goes to the moon. Session of sharing knowledge and inputs on Steem with the Newbies continues, but sharing the laughter and joy was the main idea on this gathering.

I really enjoyed my weekend with you all, thanks for the fun and laughter guys. Hope we can organize another in near time soon and by then we see our children grows up and steem together.

The power ladies in Steem with their children. Kudos to all of you. Without you, there will be no @steemxp and thank you for letting your Husbands go out to meet up and gathering :) for the guy's session !!! Lol.

The early arrivals get to do the fire, @danieldoughty says he graduated from Youtube on seeing How to Start a Fire (It took him 37min 45second to get it done) LOL.

The Sunset Skyline is impeccable, it's like the sky is looking down on us and give us the blessing we need. PTL.

The beautiful flowers grow around the Kokol Hills Villaku Resort, this place is cool and chilly at night, suitable to plant flowers such as this. If its down in the City, Hot and Humid weather is unbearable.

Dinner is served, Aunty Uncle and Kids First, then Ladies and the Men's. Thanks to those who help in for the preparations too.

The kids were so much fun in the games, and prizes giveaway done by local champion @beverlyjoe. Children game won by @nickychu JR and @melindajamulis son.

It was time for the adult games, we played two, one of the eating biscuit using your face and the other was this. This game is hilarious and fun. The game is about face painting literally that I know that I had to make up our wife, partners, and mothers and after that, they will do the same to us. Lol. What the funniest game ever been played, I look so pretty, isn't it? I think the winner of this game goes to @danieldoughty, great job @viverridae because his face is flawless. Haha...

After the make up games, it was close to 1030pm. It's bedtime for the kids, after 20minutes, the Aunty Aunty all came down to play Gimrami and the boys continue at the roundtable a with few bottles of wine. What a great night to end of fellowship and laughter.

Thanks to those who put the effort into organizing the gathering and party. To those also who supported from back home, @bitrocker2020 for your unending support, @bboyady who could not attend due to work, @zamifara also could not attend due to her family members are in town; and lastly @kilathecla Thank You for your Cupcakes and Mini Mooncakes, it deliciously tasted and those who could not make it, definitely there will be another session like this in near time soon and do not miss it again.
