A hike to Maragang Hill for a greater view of Mt. Kinabalu.

Maragang Hill is one of the new recreational destinations in Kg. Mesilou, Kundasang. This hill was officially launched on September 16, 2017.
During our visit on the 16 September 2018 it was their first anniversary and the opening of the new trail. We were lucky because we only need to pay RM 10 per person on that day for that package. I was really excited to start the hike because it was one of my bucket list to hike Maragang Hills.

We started our journey from Kota Kinabalu around 4.30 in the morning and arrived at Kundasang around 6.30 am. As we came out of the car for registration, we could felt the cold breeze that really made our jaw shivering. Done with registration we proceed our journey by drive our car to the staring point. After that, we hike about 10 minute to the briefing point. It was like a warming up for me as the loop is really steep. Reached at the briefing point, we were briefed by the organizer about our trail. After 5 minutes brief,we start our hike through the mossy jungle.

During your hike dont forget to stop and take many photo as the view in the jungle was also really amazing. Just enjoy your hike.

After 1 hour and half of hike, we reached at the peak. The view on top was really amazing. We took many photos as a remembrance of the amazing view.

After that, we continue our journey back down. Change our clothes and have our dinner at the famous bbq chicken to refill back our energy. Hike to Maragang Hill was one of cannot forget memories as the amazing view of Mount Kinabalu was majestic.
