RE: Plasmodial Resistance and the potential of herbal extracts in the treatment of malaria

in #stemng6 years ago

I am happy you have started writing again after the break occasioned by your illness. Welcome.

I keep telling people who care to listen that malaria still kills. I suspected it to be what lead to the death of late @onos. But unfortunately, most seem to see it as a minor disease. Malaria isn't gonna have minor consequences when not treated in time or when it has developed resistance. And I am happy that all these facts were highlighted in this masterpiece. And for this, I am gonna resteem it.

I am equally happy that you the hot water infusion of the said leaf led to your healing. For me, I don't care if the healing comes from taking synthetic medicine or herbal medicine, whichever avenue that leads to healing, that's OK. Healing is healing. But like you said, one has to be careful with taking herbal concoctions due to no existing means of measuring dosage and hygienic issues too.

It is a masterpiece from you as usual.

Thanks sir eurogee. I use to overlook malarial symptoms until a doctor friend told me about how deadly complicated malaria can be. Thanks for the warm welcome and I really hope to resume regular posting henceforth
