This sounds really scary. I've heard about the SHC, but not in these details.
I want to ask, is it possible for a living human to spontaneously combust completely, or is it only for corpse?

Well it's hard to say as most people are already dead when they are found. There is a purported case of it caught on tape but I'm skeptical of any news from that particular source :D
