Why do women prefer warmer temperatures to sleep?

Maybe a funny question and possibly a tad controversial, but there seems to be a lot of anecdotal evidence that women appear to be more comfortable with warmer temperatures than men when it comes to sleeping.

After all, this fact explains why such produdct can be found:

So, why do men and women have different comfort zones when it comes to temperature for sleeping?
