4 Years Anniversary plus I Visited an Open House

in #stockimage2 years ago

April 2nd marked my four year anniversary on the SteemIt blockchain. I am still 100% powered up on the blockchain. My SteemIt wallet shows that I've made 389 STEEM. That is almost 100 STEEM a year. That is more money than I made on Twitter or Facebook.

I rarely break the $0.02 threshold for payment on SteemIt; So, I usually put my post on the evil blockchain to the south of SteemIT. My fortunes on the various hardforks of SteemIt have grown to over $7,000. This is a recap of my earnings.

I Visited an Open House

While I was taking a walk yesterday, I encountered an Open House sign. Although I cannot afford real estate, I decided to visit the property anyway.

I am not sure about the legalities of taking pictures during an open house. American laws says that one can take pictures from public property (that is the city street). One has to have permission of the owner to take pictures of the interior of a building.

It turns out that photographers can be sued if they publish pictures taken inside a house without permission of the owner.

The open house sign invited me into the house; So, I am assuming that the invite includes permission to photograph the interior.

I was walking through the house, trying to figure out what to say for my anniversary post. I stumbled upon an intriguing barrel shaped sauna and decided to just take the pictures.

I didn't have time to crop the photos until this afternoon. I noticed that I did not take any pictures of the main house. I only took pictures of the bizarre upstairs extension. The upstairs had an open floor plan with several baths and showers tucked in different corners.

The real estate agent was asking $1.6 million for this bizarre house built on a hill. It has three stories. The garage is on the lower level. The main house is on the second level. The owners added a second story with has a rather bizarre open layout. There were baths, and showers tucked in corners but the facilities were not blocked by doors. That means the inhabitants would stumble upon each other when they bathed ... which isn't a problem unless you are overly modest.

This shows the exterior

The cement stairs to the entrance were showing some age.

It was this photogenic barrel shaped sauna that made me decide to take photos.

They paved their backyard to reduce maintenance.

There is an small empty pool. The pool is too small for swimming laps.

I was intrigued with this step in tub. I wonder if putting the tub on a platform made it safer.

This was the staged bedroom.

This tiled shower was accessible from the hallway.

This step in tub was accessible from the kitchen. I wonder if the recessed design of this tub facilitates clean up.

They had a patriotic ping pong table.

The upstairs had a fun kitchen.

This final shower was at the end of a hallway.

I realized when labeling the photos that I failed to take pictures of the main house. The main house had a large open area but a traditional master bedrooms and enclosed bathrooms.

The house would make an interesting AirBNB location for visitors who were not modest.

I also uploaded the photos to my photo site.
