Best strategy in stock market

Many are on the search of a best trading strategy in stock market. A few suggest investment by creating a portfolio of stocks. They recommend a long term holding for a good return in future. Some other suggest to trade in stocks for short term. Buy, hold for a few days and then sell in a short period especially in weeks or one or two months. A friend of mine suggests intra day trading to get a huge wealth. This intraday trading is very risky and at the same time chances of creating wealth are more. But all these strategies involve patience as well as alertness. One can get tension in day trading activities. Ultimate aim is to gain on the trade and make as much profit as possible.
