Castilleja Coccinea AKA Indian Paintbrush
The (Castilleja Coccinea) commonly known as Indian Paintbrush is a wildflower found throughout the northern latitudes of North America. This flower is named after Spanish botanist Domingo Castillejo. The word “coccinea” means “red,” referring to the red petals that surround the flowers.
