The Tale of The Samurai and The Tiger

In the year 1185, Japan began to be governed by warriors called samurai.. In a small town there lived a skilled young samurai named Ishida Nobunaga ,Who was underestimated by his Lord Kisake Yamamoto... Ishida Nobunaga was a lazy young swordsman who didn't portray any of these elements of a true samurai (1)bravery,(2) strength,or (3) wisdom so he wasn't asked to go on many missions that required him to use his skills.
But, he was satisfied with his life as a
warrior(samurai), but one day the young samurai was sleeping under the heavens as The great God Tsuki-Yomi(A full close moon)
watched over him But, he was awoken from the sound of weeping in the garden...So he went to the garden and seen his master weeping tears of sorrow and distress over his daughter because, this was the day and hour 5 years ago his daughter was give up to the the demon tiger for a sacrifice for tribute as a peace deal to ensure their clan safety from the demon tiger destruction.. The young warrior felt sorrow for his master..The young samurai knew in his heart what he must do. But he was afraid because of the stories he had heard about the demon tiger..But the words he heard his master scream over took him( My daughter I wish I could save you but I'm to old so I pray to Jizo Bosatsu for rescue and Hachiman-shin for protection and your safe return to me,if anyone can hear me please go and save my beloved and I will give you anything your heart desire to just hear my daughter's voice once again) and he was that warrior who heard the calling,now he must obey and Ishida knew he must fulfill the wishes of his master at any cost even if it cost him his on life.. Ishida looked up and spoke to himself"As The Great God,Goddess of the moon Tsuki-Yomi and the heavens Amaterasu-ōmikami be my whiteness, I will avenge my master's sorrow,I swear on my honor as a samurai,because my life is not mine to live, my sword is not mine to wield and my death is not mine to weep over all of this is yours master your wish is my command.."

The next night Ishida prepared himself to fulfill the important mission of his master .He began going from shrine to shrine all over town. He slept in open fields, meditating day and night under water falls and in hot baths...Ishida prayed for 10 days and 10 nights to Hachiman-shin for protection and strength for he's journey to come and Emma-hoo for the power of vengeance to slay his enemy with no mercy.

To a samurai, loyalty and obedience is a sacred duty. So the next night Ishida prey one last time for his mission, determined to carry out his lord's command...

Just before dusk he made it to the gate of the tiger, as the Ishida approached the mountains, the sky suddenly darkened, he heard a great roar and these words"O great land of Japan here my cry and tremble.."...Then a cold wind began to blow. The trees waved wildly and lightning flashed. Ishida looked up and screamed to the sky (Susanoo-no-Mikoto why protect this demon? But, I want you to hear me and be my witness Susanoo-no-Mikoto your storm will not waiver me from my mission I will slay that tiger, it is my duty as a samurai!!!!!) Ishida heard a great laugh through the lighting But,he continued his journey, moments later, a furious storm lashed the earth. The mountain trails grew slick with mud, but still Ishida rode on.

He finally seen something a hut in the distance. He rode as quickly as he could toward it, finally reaching the hut at the edge of the reverse stream.There was a ring of huge rocks stood four willow trees in honor of The Goddesses O-Ryu. Two of these trees were old and thick, but the third was young and slender and the fourth haven't sprouted yet. When the samurai saw the trees, he seen a hut in the middle of theses trees.

So he tied his horse to one of the old willows and knocked on the door of the hut. An old man answered warmly. "Please come in," he said. "My daughter will tend to your horse." Ishida turned to see what this could mean, and saw a beautiful woman leading his horse to a shelter. "My daughter will not harm your horse young samurai" the old man said , please come in young samurai.. Ishida stepped inside the hut. The old man offered him some tea and dry clothes and a meal of steaming pork soup.

As he was eating, the door opened, and the old man daughter stepped inside.

"My daughter," said the old man. "Mika." The girl took off her cloak, and the young samurai's heart nearly stopped. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, graceful and elegant, with a gleam in her eyes and a glow in her cheeks. A halo of light seemed to surround her. But thoughts of his lord, he swore on his honor, sword, duty, strength and to complete this mission.. Ishida ask the old "do you know the entrance to the cave of the demon tiger " the old man said" yes " the old man ask "way are you looking for the demon tiger" Ishida said it's a mission for my lord" the old man opened his eyes slightly" you can't defeat the demon tiger,For hundreds of years many warriors went to the mountain of the sky and tried and but, died young samurai" Ishida "well I'll be the first to defeat the tiger." , After many days,as time grew shorter ,ishida said " I must go now old timer and thank you for everything" " your welcome young samurai"he got up and went outside...

Mika asked "why father why must he go", because of his honor and his duty as a samurai and his obedience to his lord is everything to him. He prepared to mount his horse, when suddenly Mika appeared at his side. "You are leaving to go mee t death for honor?" she said, casting her eyes to the ground "You will die if you go young samurai" Ishida touches her head and say" I know but if i die I will die with my honor in one hand" he looks up to the sky" My sword in the other because I swore as the God and Goddess of the moon Tsuki-Yomi and heaven Amaterasu-ōmikami as my witness, I must do this, Mika looked into his eyes and "My name is Ishida Nobunaga samurai of the Yamamoto clan and now I must complete my mission", but I swear I will avenge my master dishonor" And then, his heart full of vengeance, he rode away. As he rode, he thought of nothing but vengeance and saving Lady Rin. "Father did you see what I seen in his eyes" The old man "yes his eyes is full of hatred and vengeance.." Moments later Ishida finally reached a temple in the mountains that night and seen someone tied to the base of the temple, he felt like someone was watching him.

As he dismounted, a figure was watching him in the darkness. "Ishida watch out behind you!!!" said in a familiar voice.

Ishida scream "Lady Rin!!!"The 12foot demon tiger tried to pounce on him but, Ishida dodge him before he was able to touch him.Tiger" I would've killed you if she would have warned you samurai." For a moment Ishida wondered how could he let his guard down, but his question vanished. All other thoughts vanished. He knew the moment had finally came and He vs The Tiger...

He drew his swords.The Tiger"So the Yamamoto clan sent you to save her.." Ishida "yes they sent me to slay you.." The Tiger laughed and the ground shock" Boy do you know who I am HAJIN THE GREAT DEMON TIGER!!!!, Do you know how many came before you boy , how many men I have slayed boy 3,999 to be exact.."Ishida" I don't care how many men you have slayed I will be the first to slay you and rescue Lady Rin.."TheTiger laughed again" Boy did you here me I'm HAJIN THE GREAT DEMON TIGER many men have battled me and all have fallen,I make men trimble, the ground shack, the rivers flood, the volconos erupt and make the wind bend to my will with my roar.." Ishida smiled The tiger"why are you smiling boy" Ishida " Your all talk and no bite demon" The tiger asked" what is your name boy" Ishida"My is Ishida Nobunaga samurai of the Yamamoto clan" The Tiger "well Ishida Nobunaga samurai of the Yamamoto clan this will be your last battle and I will devour the girl boy and consume your corpse"

Ishida"will see demon" Ishida takes his stance "lets go demon" they battle for 12 days and 12 nights as the earth shock from the great battle and storm ravished Japan .. Mika, Her Father and Master Yamamoto and the whole yamamoto clan looks up at the sky.. Mika"Is he actually battling the demon father.." The old man " Yes my daughter I pray to Hachiman-shin for his protection.." Mika " why" The old man " Because The Great Tiger is protected by The God Susanoo-No-Mikato and his great storm.." Mika" why" The old man"I don't know I pray to Amaterasu-ōmikami to watch over him.. " The Yamamoto clan " master what's going on.." Master Yamamoto" I don't know I pray to Hachiman-shin for my daughter protection, I never seen a storm like this why is Susanoo-No-Mikato so angry..."

On the 13 day the Tiger and Ishida looks deep in each other eyes"breathing heavily, battered bruised.."The Tiger " your a worthy opponent Ishida Nobunaga samurai of the Yamamoto clan" Ishida" you are to Hajin The Great Demon Tiger" The Tiger "I'm sorry but it have to end right here and now boy" Ishida smiled" enough talking lets go, like I told you I will slay you and rescue Lady Rin..." The Tiger laughed " You have to get through me to get to her boy like I told you Once I will slay you and I will devour her and consume your corpse...
Lady Rin scream " Ishida you can do this" The tiger hits her with his tail"shut up" the tiger said.. Ishida screams "Lady Rin are you okay?" The Tiger"I told you boy I'm in control" The look in Ishida eyes changed "I will never forgive you for this demon" the calmness turn to vengeance and rage.." " You will pay for what you have done demon.." The tiger charges Ishida " DIE Ishida Nobunaga samurai of the Yamamoto clan.."The Tiger attack (ROARING FIRE SLASH)" Ishida takes his stance holding both blades ( RAGEING DEMON SLAYER) a purple slash goes through the tiger, cuts him in two and kills him instantly..Hajin " how could I have been defeated by a him.."Both parts of Hajin hits the ground and cause an earthquake... Ishida puts his blades away and prey to
Amaterasu-ōmikami for the guidance of his soul to heaven.. Amaterasu-ōmikami speaks to Ishida and says " He's soul has already been taken by Izanami no mikoto for his evil deeds"Ishida turns around and look at The great tiger Hajin body turn to dust and fly away.. Ishida runs to Lady Rin " Are you okay Lady Rin" Lady Rin says" yes" Ishida unties her and she jumps up and hug him" my hero" Ishida" lets go Lady Rin"
They rode past the mountains and rivers and valleys on there way back to their home..Mika "father he won" The old man "I know the reign of Hajin the great demon tiger is over... Weeks later they made it back home.. As the master was weeping tears of sorrow and distress over his daughter he said again"I will give anything to here her voice again.." Lady Rin ran to the garden and screamed "FATHER" as tears drip down her face..He rose up " Rin you have returned. Praise Hachiman-shin for her safe return..They ran to each other and hug..Master yamamoto asked who saved you.."Lady Rin said Ishida Nobunaga.." Master yamamoto yells " Ishida Nobunaga!!!!!" Then they heard a horse..They ran outside the gate and seen a horse riding away and a note left behind.. Master Yamamoto open the letter and it says

     親愛なるヤマモト

あなたがしてくれたすべてのことをありがとう、あなたがしたことに対する私の贈り物です...マスターは、悲しみと悲しみの涙を涙の涙ではなく、彼女が戻ってきた...私には感謝しないでください山本主任は私の義務でした侍として..山本主よ、あなたは娘に何かを与えると言いました。私は何もあなたに幸せを見ないでしょう。十分な支払いです。
