Wolves and Little Goats
Once upon a time, there was a little goat whose horns began to grow and made him think that he was an adult at the time and could take care of himself. One afternoon when the goat gang began to return to the ranch again and his mother had called him, the goat was not paying attention and cared for his mother's call. She stayed on the grass and chewed the smooth grass around her. Moments later when he raised his head, he saw a horde of goats including his mother no longer exists.
Now he lives alone. The sun is setting. The long shadow begins to cover the ground. The cold wind began to come blowing and made a frightening noise. The goat begins to tremble for fear he will meet the wolf. Then he started to run through the grass to go back to the ranch, screaming for his mother. But in the middle of the road, near the tree of shrubs, what was feared actually happened, a wolf had stood there looking at her with a hungry face.
The little goat knows that little hope for him can get away from the wolf's ambush.
"Please, Mr. Wolf," he said shakily, "I know you will eat me, but first, sing me a song with your flute, because I want to dance and have fun as long as I can."
Wolves and Little Goats
The wolf liked the idea of the little goat, playing music before eating, so the wolf pulled out his flute and started playing the joyous song and the little goat jumped up and danced with joy.
As the herd of goats moved back to the ranch, in the still-darkening silence of the afternoon, the sound of a flutter of wolves was heard. The shepherd dogs who guard the goat gangs straighten their ears and recognize the song played by the wolves, and quickly the shepherd dogs run towards the wolf and rescue the dancing little goats.
The wolf that was about to eat the little goat finally ran after the sheep dog, and thought how stupid he was, playing the song with the flute for the little goat when he should have pounced on him straight away.
