Nice story and so true. We sometimes make a mountain of something only we can see, and complicate our own life.

Just thing though, there is already a famous story out there about Gerald the giraffe who also finds a way to accept who he is in "Giraffes can't dance" by Giles Andreae - the name of your story confused me a bit
