Frederick bended down to the biggest drawer he had and answered to Joanna from there.

You don't need to tell me Joanna. Don't need to tell me it will be beautiful. Do you want to teach me how to sew a trousers? No need for that.

I can't find the fabric anywhere. Frederick was in a fret.

Be careful! Take special care Frederick don't hurt your back. Worried Joanna.

The baize what I desire is in the window. I said to Frederick.

There it is! There it is! Exclaimed Frederick and picked up two packages. He cleaned them from the dust that seemed like it has been sitting on it for at least a decade. He started to unpack it, but this time he couldn't find his pair of scissors.

Hurry up, hurry up Joanna let's find the scissors. Where did you put them? Frederick put the pressure on Joanna. Last time I have seen it on the stove. Noted Frederick.

That was a month ago. Said Joanna.

Why did you say that was a month ago? Asked Frederick off-handed. He acted like his business has been going on well. I sewed two weeks ago. Yes, but you just sewed a button up to your coat and you didn't need the scissors. Laughed Joanna.

I didn't need the scissors? How on Earth I have cut the thread then?

As they were having this kind of conversation both of them were laughing and Joanna striked back. You might have torn it with your teeth.

With my teeth? I lost my last tooth last Christmas.

I was just standing there watching these two old ones as they are happily chaffing with each other. I could watch them for hours.

Joanna finally found the scissors, which was just down in the corner in a bucket. They left them there since last Spring when they used them in the garden.

Frederick now could open the packs.

From one of them, an ordinary grey baize fell out and a soft brown fabric with slightly blue stripes from the other.

The king of all fabrics. Apotheosized Frederick the material.

You can see this. Touch this! This fabric nowhere can be found nowadays. I have just enough to sew a pair of trousers. This is only the left over. Frederick sighed.

Long long time ago I sewed a suit for the Queen's husband.

Isn't this baize musty? I asked.

No, no it has been here for fifty years, but it can last another fifty. Answered Frederick.

Well which one do you prefer? I asked Lee.

Leslie pointed to the brown one.

The grey would fit well too. I said.

How much would it cost from the grey one?

Frederick looked at Lee then down to the fabric. Only $12 not much, not much. He said. Then looked at Joanna as he would ask isn't it expensive.

Joanna was standing there happily and she was glad to see that Frederick is creating prices for people again just like he did many many years ago.

Right, take the measurement of the boy. I asked the old man.

But your son preferred the brown one. Noted Frederick.

And how much is that?

$20 more, but it's very soft and he really likes it. Think again!
