In july 1964 pakistan,Iran and Turkey formed a regional organization which named as regional co-operation for development (RCD).the basic aims of this organization were to develop trade and free transportation of goods between member countries 3 To prepare plans for achieving common goals.2 to enforce sasme tariff of post and telegram between member countires.4 to establish joint airline shipping and railways.5 to have road and train links with one another.6 to develop tourism and to wave the restriction in the field of culture and to grant scholarships to students of member countries.

After this organization relations between these countries habe become strong.in 1985 on the request of Iranian government this organization
Was renamed as Economic Co-operation Organization (ECO)
