The Lifestory of a Mass Murder

Friends, this is a story I wrote when I was 14 or 16. I hope you enjoy it. It is a Batman fanfiction

Demented, by the sheer madness around him, he closed his mouth forever. No sound escaped his lips. Pain was only a useless emotion, happiness was similar to death. His face was a poker face, not saying or showing any emotion. The world was his area of expertise, for he only took everything in, without any giving back.

He killed his teacher like he killed the thief who had tried to steal his purse.

But, there was only one thing that calmed him. Gold. Gold was the spirit of his body. It brought a twitch in hid never-moving face. It calmed him enough to not kill the next person he saw.

But, a person would ask, does all this madness and death not have any result? Yes, madness and death had a result, though largely unnoticeable. For every man or woman or child he killed, he made a scar on part of his body. Before long, his scars were past a hundred, two hundred or three hundred.

On that present night, he was at four hundred and ninety-nine. His five hundredth and last target was the Dark Knight himself. With no sound, he approached the Bat’s back, trying to stab him directly at the brain.

Alas! The Dark Knight turned at the last milisecond, receiving the wound on the shoulder. He turned back and captured the mass murderer in a minute.

He was shipped to Arkham Asylum, where the ruthless Hugo Strange electrocuted him daily. All this had happened when he was the age of 21 and with Joker, he made an alliance to kill the Batman, for whom he was in this state. He escaped the asylum, and faced the Batman again. He beat him to the pulp and when he tried to shoot the Dark Knight, his long lost sister got the bullet instead.

Memories started flooding him. In the pain of the previous memories, he let out a final cry and shot himself.
The name of the person, whose life-story I have just told you was Franc Zaas. The real question was who was responsible for his death?

Thank you for reading!
