"Superman" My Dad

in #story6 years ago

Hello my friends from steemit, I would like to share a bit of history, not about me, not about my life, but about the best man who has walked the earth, my dad, my hero.

It was not a famous character in the story but it was for me an example to follow in every way, it was good father, good son, good husband and good friend, what else is needed to be famous ?.

My dad left this material world 7 years ago but for me it has been an eternity since I saw him enter the house.

His story is a complicated story, 10 brothers in a humble family who could not give education to all, my dad being the oldest let his brothers study while he entered the military academy.

Among many sacrifices my grandparents gave them the best upbringing that could be given, and I could never ask my grandparents to raise him differently because thanks to everything that happened my dad went the man he became.

He shared the stage with one of his favorite singers called: Felipe pirela, (* Venezuelan singer *).

I think my dad little regretted his life, he could meet the best woman in life who is my mother, had 3 children who love him, (although we never deserved such a great dad).

I still have a recording of my dad in difficult times in which he reminded me that even in the worst moments "tomorrow will be better" I have it tattooed on my chest, literally tattooed on my chest.

He was a fan of music, baseball, softball, Cantinflas, he liked to do mechanics, a good blue cheese or what he called "rotten cheese", go on a trip with my mom and of course, his other love, the house on the beach that he built with his own hands, who else can say that? "Gentlemen, I built this house with my two hands"

image.jpeg

Still when I'm doing mechanics I smile thinking about my father saying in his tenor voice "you're looking at my little boy for not wanting to learn from me, look at yourself now" Hahaha.

What education did my brothers and I, the best parents, ever change a minute of my life with them, just want a minute more with my dad to apologize for all the gray hair I pulled, all the ill-treatment and every time I fail you, one minute. I hope to see him in heaven so I can hug him again.

That was my old man, among his thousand stories that to this day I still tell people I wanted to tell you a little about the Zulian superman who lived 71 years as a hero in this land.

I just want you to see the most handsome man in the world who, even with his 71 years, played with us and could box with my brothers and me and beat us all at the same time.

All the pictures are of my dad, they are not mine, they are his forever.

I love you dad
