"Aarrgghh, seriously?!", she cried out, "Must it be now?!"

Tears rolled down her cheeks and at that moment she hated everything, most of all, herself.
She recalled the events of the past few minutes and wondered why she didn't notice her phone had indicated 'Battery Critically Low'. Oh, how very foolish of her!
Now her phone was off because her battery was dead and there was no way to close this Pandora's box of depressed emotions she seemingly opened.

As she seemed to calm from the hyper regret she felt, time crawled slowly and she wished power would be restored as soon as possible, so she could charge her battery. She waited on her bed and subconsciously began to think of the guy that caused this river of mixed emotions well deep inside of her. She remembered his chiselled face in all its apical glories, his hunky body, his comment and posts and then, little by little, she drifted off, dreaming about him.

'NEPAAAAA!!', Laura, her sister, screamed delightfully, causing Florence to wake. How long had she slept? The clock in her room read 6:30pm.
Had she slept the whole afternoon? Jeez! It's been long that last happened.
And the jamboree orchestrated by Laura was very disturbing but very unlike Florence, she just charged her phone without shouting at Laura for the noise.
Whew! Thank God, her phone was now charging.
Should she switch it on now or leave it off? She blushed at the thought of meeting any response from Collins.

"No need postponing the evil day", she said to herself, almost sixty seconds into charging, and then turned on her phone.
Three minutes later met her staring at the Facebook app on her Android, her heart beating faster than Eminem's rap, in anticipation of Collins' acceptance.
Okay!
This Is It!
Moment Of Truth!

She clicked open the app and then PIM! PIM!! A SMS alert popped up from 9mobile, her service provider. It read, 'Dear customer, your data has been exhausted....'
"Nooo, why now? Why?!", she cried out.

To make this more fun for everyone, why don't you predict what's going to happen in the next part? The comment closest to the story receives 1 SBD from me. So...let's the predictions begin!!!😁

Really interesting.... I like the storyline welldone... To predict what will happen next? Well she will probably call her sister to help get credit, while she keeos on fantasizing about what to see on facebook. Her phone network may develop issues such that even after buying the data she will still not be able to browse. Then she will be tempted to ask a friend

😂😂😂😂
I like the prediction. Well, let's see 😉

I don't sit down to read prose too often these days, but I found myself reading this one and I was captivated by it till the very end, to the point that I was left wishing it was a bit longer,.... Anyway, with a broken heart, here's my prediction of what the next part could look like

She stood up from her bed frantically and rushed out of her house in a dash, arms swing back and forth rhythmically... She had never been a fast runner but for what it was worth, she was running at an high speed.

'Aunty, give me MTN 2000 card' she called amidst pants as she frantically tried to catch her breath. . . . . . . . .

😂😂😂😂

'Aunty, give me MTN 2000 card'

Haba, you sef fit go buy N2,000 card?😂😆😄😄

Good prediction tho...

Ahnahn... She's so interested in getting across to him asap na
