light and shadow part 1
One day dawned with the conviction of having lived a life full of lights, full of love and perfection, had a world in his head, wanted to talk about his life as one who refuses to disappear in time, wanted to endure. This is how Mary begins to tell her story:
Mary was born with the happiness of being a baby desired by her parents, from her early years she was educated in a matrial family where the grandmother was the one who imposed the rules on all members of the family, was raised under the dogma of the Catholic religion and with values as firm as a bridge, Mary was lucky to have had an ally since she was an unbreakable girl, her little cousin Ariel, both girls went to the rhythm of the demands that were imposed on them, grew and became more united , they shared studies, homework, dolls, clothes and almost everything they had, bus was "we are like sisters" and they really felt it. They were really admire.
Mery was always strong, introverted, self-assured but very brave, Ariel was the opposite, insecure, but extroverted. At six years of age Mary used to play at all times although Ariel was not there she played, she entered the room where they played and they could spend hours and hours there in their perfect world, the game world where everything is magical, that day Mary noticed something strange, she felt she could not play without feeling afraid, she had the feeling that someone was watching her while she played, her fear was so much that she stopped her game and left, she did not mention anything to her parents, her aunt and uncle, his older brother. As the days passed Ariel and Mary when returning from school played as usual but Mary had the same feeling and told Ariel that she was afraid, because someone saw them play, Ariel was dying of fear but both decided not to talk about it anymore. There were many times more to mark felt threatened by that mysterious feeling but over time I ignore it completely.
Ariel and Mary grew up, although there were more contemporary cousins, none could be integrated to them, they were very closed in their brotherhood. Mary loved to dance and sometimes she did it in front of the mirrors, she dreamed of being a dancer, one day she danced as usual in her grandmother's living room, and as she did, she saw a child standing next to her watching her move, I never stopped dancing, but in her head I just passed the idea that I did not know that child who was maybe his age, and that he was as white as a paper, immediately understood that this child did not exist, that it had been his imagination or maybe something I did not want to recognize. This time she told her aunt who was taking care of her, she was very nervous about it and told him to forget that, and that she never ignored him. This is what Mary did for a long time.
Since Mary's family was Catholic, at a certain age they had to start with what was appropriate in that religion. Ariel and Mary were to take communion for the first time.
Mary and Ariel were in love with some children who studied at school, both kept it a secret because they knew how strong their grandmother was, they never did anything inappropriate in their family even though they were just little girls always obeyed in everything. At the time of the first communion day, Mary, who slept with her grandmother that night, had the worst dream she had ever had, where beings without faces dragged her to a dark place, the screams were very strong, she woke up crying and her Grandmother was already looking at her in bed, I put a scapular on her neck and said, do not take it off, when you feel that you are afraid or some strange noise at night pray, ask God for protection, since that night he had no more nightmares did not feel anything strange. Mary was happy with Ariel on the day of her first communion, it was so sacred that experience of feeling the body of Christ Jesus n his life, they were really pure girls and that was to be noticed.
Finally Mary and Ariel spent many nights and days having fun, fantasizing about their future, and their lives, but there was no doubt that something was happening with Mary, Mary did not act like Ariel in basic things and not like anyone in her family, she noticed and everyone they did, but what happened to Mary ?, Mary felt the death of her family, Mary was ready for the deaths, Mary felt what to do and how to do, even knew how to get Ariel out of any mess, Mary could see what others No, but why did not anyone talk to Mary about what was happening to her? She began to feel strange and curious, she also felt afraid of those things, she tried again and again to sleep without her amulet and it was impossible, her brother told her one day no one will believe you, no one really knows what it is, but we are the same. Mary felt relief but curiosity that we are then? What Mary always felt was the closeness with her maternal grandfather, although she was born when he had been dead for years, something he could not understand. Finding out with his uncles, older cousins, brother and his grandmother, he discovered that the "gift" was, as it were, familiar, but everyone ignored it.
The first to manifest it was the deceased grandfather who claimed to see a Mrs. who told him everything that would happen, as well as answered their questions. Then an aunt who had experienced divination and those things had predicted that one of the two Ariel or Mary would be born with an illness and perhaps die, after that prediction brings cancer on her, plus every time she made some prediction in loud voice something in his health worsened, even several times he stopped walking. Mary knew that her grandmother prayed without stopping some nights but it seemed normal, her brother since he was born was stalking for a host of paranormal things that everyone could witness even spoke with the dead grandfather, another of his aunts who had taken care of them had experienced a strange possession that almost cost him his life and his mental health. Mary realized that she was surrounded by stories that frightened her but made her feel calm, she kept silent about everything she saw, everything she heard no one wanted to hear whether brother or Ariel, then she began to live with it.
