RE: Where There Was No Path - King Arthur and the Western Way
I'm Oatmeal Joey Arnold and I'm a fan of individualism over collectivism and was born in 1985 in Oregon and was a freelance English Teacher for 5 years in Vietnam where they are as you said in this video as part of an organ which is good to an extent for collaboration, teamwork, survival when times are tough, economically, financially, geographically.
But individualism is a key factor in capitalism and seems to motivate and work better, so far, than socialism, communism. One must take a unique path, to learn to ask questions and to figure out how to make choices individually because why not and because it is better that way for a lot of reasons. I like King Arthur.... and the Jedi or very smart people sure can give us advice, proverbs, wisdom, as in a path, a guide, but it is better if we still do our best to apply it to our lives perhaps.... but we shouldn't really do things out of fear or peer pressure as they may do in the East. That is what @stefan.molyneux talks about. I like your username, @angrybeaver. Yeah, beavers are funny but smart and wise in how they build their dams, their water homes. I'm Oatmeal because I eat oatmeal.
