History of Traditional House of Aceh Often Also Known Rumoh Aceh
Rumah adat Aceh or commonly called Rumoh Aceh by the people of Aceh is a traditional house of the tribe of Aceh. This house bertipe stage house with 3 main parts and 1 additional section. The three main parts of Aceh's house are seuramoë keuë (front porch), seuramoë teungoh (middle porch) and seuramoë likôt (back porch). While 1 additional part is rumoh dapu (home kitchen). The roof of the house serves as a place of family heirloom storage.

Individual Beliefs as well as the Acehnese community and the natural conditions in which the individual or the living community has a significant influence on the architectural form of the building, the house, which is made. This can be seen in the architecture of Rumoh Aceh, Province of Special Region of Aceh, Indonesia. Rumoh Aceh is a stilt house with a pole height of 2.50-3meter, consisting of three or five chambers, with one main room called rambat.Rumoh with three rooms has 16 columns, while Rumoh with five spaces has 24 columns. Modifications from three to five spaces or vice versa can be done easily, just add or remove the existing on the left or right side of the house. This part is usually called sramoe likot or back porch and sramoe reunyeun or foyer bertangga, which is the entry into Rumoh which is always located in the east.
