Introduction

in #story7 years ago (edited)

It was the first day of my junior year. An optimistic kid walked into the halls of Long Reach High with many ambitious thoughts, and with just as many uncertainties prevailing in mind. The excitement of a new year, new classes, and a great deal of new friends awaited me in the coming months. However, I had not known that it would be the year that I would finally, after 17 years, would find my true passion. A passion that I would be striving for the rest of my life. This was the year in which I would get a job, get my permit, and meet one of my most influential friends. Since the first days of science class back in elementary school, I had always been fascinated with the universe and all that she embodies. Science was more of a reflection of my personality. We strive for answers at every chance, every corner, opportunity, event, horizon. Never in human history have we had the chance to say that we had accomplished more in the last month, than the accumulated years of our ancestors. This time period of human achievement was my opportunity, and I refuse to standby as it slips through my lifetime. I'm an ambitious person. I never considered myself in competition with someone, but with everyone. And I'm not saying this from an arrogant standpoint, But merely the standpoint that my journey began so, so long ago. I will not be downhearted for not being content with nothing. These aren't just words, but more of a written symbol of my real journey. It has been two years since junior year, and as a senior I was enrolled in the Gifted and Talented Research Program also taking AP Physics Calc Mechanics. I had committed myself to researching and developing my own theory of physics. This research paper I without a doubt would be taking with me beyond high school into more profound educational institutes we're I will seek knowledge and guidance. I had inquired to professors, begun developing an annotated bibliography and synthesis paper, and began a project we're I was able to stir interest in this topic. For the topic I was researching? Well, We are aware that the universe isn't expanding into anything, but just that it is just expanding. However, I firmly hold the idea that it is expanding into itself. By definition the universe encompasses everything, which by theory cannot be actually expanding as it already is everything, but stretching in into itself. As the universe has no edge. This makes good sense of the theory that the universe is accelerating. Think of the universe as a square, and each time it expands, it divides itself into twos, with matter and energy staying proportional to the tiles; staying in the middle of the model; this expansion accelerates as it goes. Can this inward stretch be a possible theory that has possible implications or be synthesised with other facts? Can this theory be just as unique as the infinite amounts of possibilities that can be rampant within the multiverse? or can all theories be a simultaneous occurrence and not have a true definitive parameter? That is what I am researching. This may be truly bold dedication, however, no man in the history of mankind has ever accomplished much by simply doing the norm. In order for fulfillment of our visions one has to aim where our wildest dreams can't conceive of, and reach out into the endless void, a place where our ancestors have always feared. Now, we conquer it all. Not because as a species we persevered, but only because a few of many decided that fear is the single most destructive setback any conscious being can ever have
