Ibn Athir said in the book of Usud al-Ghabah, "In the battle of Uhud, Hamzah succeeded in killing 31 Quraish infidels, until one day he slipped so that he fell backward and exposed his armor, and at that instant he immediately speared and torn his stomach, then his heart issued by Hindun then chewed Hamzah's heart but not swallowed and immediately vomited.

When the Messenger of Allah saw the state of his uncle Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib, he was very angry and Allah sent down his words, "And if you give back, then repay with the same punishment as punishment that inflicted upon you, but if you are patient, those who are patient (QS An Nahl 126)

Narrated Ibn Ishaq in the book "Sirah Ibn Ishaq" from Abdurahman bin Auf that Ummayyah bin Khalaf said to him "Who is one of your troops whose breasts are adorned with feathers?" I replied "He is Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib". Then the Umayyad said He was the one who defeated us ".

Abdurahman bin Auf mentions that during the Battle of Badr, Hamzah fought alongside the Prophet with two swords.
