On this day in the 20th century, on June 4, 1972, Angela Davis was found innocent of murder, kidnapping and criminal conspiracy charges by an all-white jury in San Hose, California. "Free Angela and All Political Prisoners" is a 2012 documentary on how Angela Davis' social activism implicated her in a kidnapping attempt that ended with four dead and her name on the FBI's 10 most wanted list.
